Really nice article. Thanks so much for sharing

I have mine all on a bookshelf so they are easily accessible as well as being displayed.

The display has been moved/changed because my collection has gotten larger, but it's still the same concept.

So are you looking for just anything VCS or do you have a list of things you would like to pick up?
LOL...I completely forgot. That would help, eh?
Let me compile a list and add it to the first post. Sorry about that.Peace,

Thought I'd throw this out there since the amount of items in the eBay store keeps growing and growing. I'm adding another 10-12 items tomorrow.

Lots of weird and esoteric stuff, mostly collectible in nature. If you see anything you like and have Atari 2600 stuff to trade (carts, CIB, Atari Age mags) I'd certainly be up for that.
Of course, anyone who wants to just purchase anything feel free to PM me and we'll work out a deal outside of eBay. Pesky fees, ya know.

Thanks in advance for looking...here's a list of what I'm looking for :
An original Sunnyvale Heavy Sixer Box (with the chess piece), preferably in nice shape.
Any amount of those little 4-cart modular storage units (made by ALS, I believe).
Complete In Box
Basic Math 61 (gatefold box)
Fun With Numbers
3D Tic-Tac-Toe
A Game of Concentration
Back To School Pak
Racing Pak
Any Silver Boxed Atari CIB (except Raiders, ET and the non-logo Ms. Pac-Man)
Any Red Boxed Atari CIB (except Xenophobe)
Any Parker Brothers CIB
Any Coleco CIB
Activision Checkers
Crackpots
Plaque Attack
Pressure Cooker
River Raid
Sky Jinks
Laser Gates
Quick Step
Shootin' Gallery
Subterranea
Loose Carts
Parker Brothers : Mr. Do's Castle, Q*bert's Qubes
Fox : Crash Dive, Earth Dies Screaming, Spacemaster X-7
Activision : Kung-Fu Master, Commando, River Raid II, Rampage

Well, that sucked incredibly. Why do others' auctions do well and mine always suck?
Blah...that ruined my day.

Only 10 hours left! There's bargains to be had and I need the cash! LOL.

Systems w/games, single carts (some rare) and single controllers.
Check them out and see if there's anything you like. Thanks a lot!

I'd love to see your setups...just from your avatar I know it'd be very impressive.

That is amazing. Do you have a collection thread somewhere?

What's it being played on? Is that a 2700?

I can't miss out this time. Put me down for a CIB.

I'd like a box & manual if there's one available.

Just got the Atari lot: great package! Thanks a lot!!

VERY happy it arrived safely! The sixer that crossed the world! LOL.

Thanks man!

All this stuff is now on eBay for a week-long auction, but I'd be happy to end anything if a member here wants it at my prices in this thread.
Thanks again, everyone.

So, is the boxed version of this sold out?

I like that a lot. Easy to spot as a repro, yet nearly 100% like the original. Great job.

Kaboom was my first, and Demon Attack my second. My favorite was Riddle of the Sphinx and two others I remember playing a LOT were Space Jockey by VidTec and Fast Eddie by Fox Games.

Just wanted to clarify that the 7800 in the first post is STILL AVAILABLE.
The comments afterward that the 7800 was sold refer to the first one I had for sale over a month ago.
Thanks again for looking.

Peace,
Chip

While I agree that you guys are definitely specialists, the 7800 that was posted as "SOLD" in that thread was one I had for sale a while ago at $50. The current one with 4 games is still available.
After reading your post I thought it had sold! LOL.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement as well as the advice. I appreciate it.

Which version do you have, box 8 or box 9? I'm guessing on box 9 shown on my website that the black sticker on the front of the box is removable. On the back of the box, the Atari in the upper left, does it have a ® or not? Also, does it have an "N" sticker on the top flap?
I used to have it, but don't any longer. That photo was from several years ago. Trying to get another one at some point.

I've always liked the PAL box. The Superman logo pops more or something.
@marillion - so are you selling some Atari stuff to buy other stuff? Because you have that "lost my job" thread in the Marketplace.
Selling stuff to pay bills and complete a few deals I have pending until I find another job.
Hopefully it won't be too long.
Peace,
Chip

Thanks for the advice. I just put it up in my sale thread in the Marketplace forum at $75/OBO.
