Article on Atariage, DP, and the collecting community
marillion replied to ubersaurus's topic in Atari 2600
Really nice article. Thanks so much for sharing Peace, Chip -
I have mine all on a bookshelf so they are easily accessible as well as being displayed. The display has been moved/changed because my collection has gotten larger, but it's still the same concept. Peace, Chip

FT - Anything in my eBay store for Atari 2600 stuff!
marillion replied to marillion's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
LOL...I completely forgot. That would help, eh? Let me compile a list and add it to the first post. Sorry about that. Peace, Chip -
Thought I'd throw this out there since the amount of items in the eBay store keeps growing and growing. I'm adding another 10-12 items tomorrow. Lots of weird and esoteric stuff, mostly collectible in nature. If you see anything you like and have Atari 2600 stuff to trade (carts, CIB, Atari Age mags) I'd certainly be up for that. Of course, anyone who wants to just purchase anything feel free to PM me and we'll work out a deal outside of eBay. Pesky fees, ya know. Here's the link - http://rover.ebay.co...=&_trksid=p3686 Thanks in advance for looking...here's a list of what I'm looking for : An original Sunnyvale Heavy Sixer Box (with the chess piece), preferably in nice shape. Any amount of those little 4-cart modular storage units (made by ALS, I believe). Complete In Box Basic Math 61 (gatefold box) Fun With Numbers 3D Tic-Tac-Toe A Game of Concentration Back To School Pak Racing Pak Any Silver Boxed Atari CIB (except Raiders, ET and the non-logo Ms. Pac-Man) Any Red Boxed Atari CIB (except Xenophobe) Any Parker Brothers CIB Any Coleco CIB Activision Checkers Crackpots Plaque Attack Pressure Cooker River Raid Sky Jinks Laser Gates Quick Step Shootin' Gallery Subterranea Loose Carts Parker Brothers : Mr. Do's Castle, Q*bert's Qubes Fox : Crash Dive, Earth Dies Screaming, Spacemaster X-7 Activision : Kung-Fu Master, Commando, River Raid II, Rampage Sega : Up 'N Down Spectravision : Master Builder, Bumper Bash, Mangia Atari Silver Label : Swordquest Waterworld, Quadrun Nintendo NES : Dragon Warrior IV (cart only is fine) Peace, Chip

marillion replied to marillion's topic in Auction Central
Well, that sucked incredibly. Why do others' auctions do well and mine always suck? Blah...that ruined my day. Peace, Chip -

At least 181 reasons to love my collection
marillion replied to atari181's topic in Show Us Your Collection!
Your collection is simply killer, Dave. I'm in awe. Peace, Chip -
I'd love to see your setups...just from your avatar I know it'd be very impressive. Peace, Chip
-
That is amazing. Do you have a collection thread somewhere? Peace, Chip
-
What's it being played on? Is that a 2700? Peace, Chip
-
I can't miss out this time. Put me down for a CIB. Peace, Chip
-
I'd like a box & manual if there's one available. Peace, Chip
-
So, is the boxed version of this sold out? Peace, Chip
-
I like that a lot. Easy to spot as a repro, yet nearly 100% like the original. Great job. Peace, Chip

What (and when) was your first third party 2600 game?
marillion replied to shadow460's topic in Atari 2600
Kaboom was my first, and Demon Attack my second. My favorite was Riddle of the Sphinx and two others I remember playing a LOT were Space Jockey by VidTec and Fast Eddie by Fox Games. Peace, Chip -
While I agree that you guys are definitely specialists, the 7800 that was posted as "SOLD" in that thread was one I had for sale a while ago at $50. The current one with 4 games is still available. After reading your post I thought it had sold! LOL. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement as well as the advice. I appreciate it. Peace, Chip

I used to have it, but don't any longer. That photo was from several years ago. Trying to get another one at some point. Peace, Chip

Selling stuff to pay bills and complete a few deals I have pending until I find another job. Hopefully it won't be too long. Peace, Chip
