  1. I have a cart where I can see the screen, only it's in b&w and it scrolls vertically and never stops.

I've tried the q-tip/isopropyl cleaning once with no luck (still does the same thing).

What should the next step be? It's an expensive cart, so I'd obviously like to save it.

    Peace,

  2. ...but I just can't go so far as to worry about people conspiring against me when I win an eBay auction... just sounds too gamer mafia for me I guess.

Oh, it's not THAT bad with me. LOL. I'm not worried about conspiracies or anything like that...I'm just worried about someone with deeper pockets and an equal desire for the lot focusing their attention on what I'm also interested in. If the auction links are posted on this forum before they end, then that has a much higher probability of happening. :D

  3. I was worried it was going to be "outed" here on the forum and it would be priced out of my reach, but in the end I'm happy with my purchase.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1209729293071?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=120972929307&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Boing (Xonox style case), Tapper, HERO, Beamrider, Ghostbusters and some more common carts I don't yet have like Spider-Man, GI Joe and Amidar.

I'll keep what I want and either sell the rest locally or back on eBay with better pictures.

I enjoy splitting up lots & selling the dupes...I find I end up paying a lot less for games that way. I certainly need to since I'm looking for a job right now. :)

    Peace,

  4. In this case, he was just spoiling a side deal though.

...but why spoil anything at all? Why come in here and announce every rarity hidden in every lot that comes up on eBay?

I had the largest Super Powers collection in the world a few years ago because I did whatever I could do get pieces that came up for sale. If the sellers wanted to sell to me outright, they did.

It doesn't make any sense to spoil other people's collecting for no reason at all.

    Peace,

    Chip

  5. Why someone not interested in the item (to buy) would contact a seller just to inform that the item is rare or whatever... that I can't understand. If the item is mislisted and you find it and you are interested in it I would assume that you would bid in the auction. If you are not interested in bidding then why not just let it be?

This was the point I was trying to make about roadrunner...this is all he seems to want to do is call attention to rarities within auction lots. I happen to think that's crap.

Everyone wants to get a great deal on things. Why spoil it just for the sake of spoiling it?

    Peace,

    Chip

  6. I just think that scouring eBay multiple times a day should be what you have to do in order to find stuff "hidden" in auction lots, and not have someone continuously post on a forum saying "Hey, look at this! "Hey look at THIS!" when they have no other intention. I mean, where's the fun in paying full price for everything all the time? This is especially true for me who lives in an area where this stuff is not plentiful at ALL in flea markets, pawn shops or Craigslist.

  7. Just completed a huge deal with Chuck and received excellent communication, service, and of course stellar games!

Boxed, loose, R8s, commons, etc. As I said, a huge lot and it could not have gone smoother.

    Thanks a lot, Chuck!

    Peace,
