Welcome to Atari Age! You should check the Store to see some of the arcade classic ports and homebrews for the 7800. You'll be competing with the younglings some more!
-
Excellent!

Damn, just missed out on Alien Greed!
-
I've never seen a portable 7800 per se but there is a hand held game system that runs emulators for older systems. So ,you could run ProSystem on this system and then play 7800 games using this portable unit. The name of it escapes me right now.

Hi there ans welcome to Atari Age! You will certainly enjoy the 7800 and , in fact, as you become more familiar with Atari Age you'll find that the system has a good set of homebrew games which are excellent. I'll see if I can answer some of your question. You can be a AA member for free but with a paid membership you get certain benefits, not the least of which is earlier access to homebrew games and discounts at the AA Store. The community here is pretty active and there are folks doing excellent work creating new games or improving existing games. There is new hardware introduced, such as the Harmony Cartridge, which lets you play Atari 2600 ROMS. Harmony can hold as many games as you can place in an SD card and it uses a menu for you to choose the games. Check it out: http://harmony.atariage.com/ If you're looking for hacks and roms, just hit the 7800 at the top of the screen and you can search for games for the 7800. You can do the same for the 2600, 5200, etc. Insofar as sites to purchase games, you can check the Atari Age Store, Good Deal Games, Atari 61, Best Electronics...just to name a few. Welcome once more! Have fun!

It is a fun game to play and it has good graphics. I'd say it is worth getting.
-
I have one and I like it for several reasons, among them, it is smaller, it has the look of the newer Atari units (5200,7800), and it works well.
-
It would be great to have these on cart. I'd ad Ms Hack to the lsit as well as the multicolor Ms Pac Man.
-
I highly recommend Pac-Man Collection for the 7800. The variety of games you can play with both Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man is excellent and the games original Ms. Pac-Man does match to the arcade better.

Thanks Smeg!

Ah, Lynxopoly is coming soon...can't miss that cart! I have a couple others on the way as well. Once I have them I'll post a pic with them.

Very nice. PM sent.

Just posted an update to my original post in this same thread. Added another picture.

Well, I've made a label for this cartridge for when it gets released. It will look just fine on a red PCB.

ANYBODY HERE USE A USB FLOPPY? ANY LUCK?
TrekMD replied to wood_jl's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
I have a USB floppy and, though I hardly ever use it, it does work just fine. -
Possibly. I think with only exception, all the Telegames carts for the Lynx I've bought just have a plain text label on them. So, I've just made labels for them!
