    Needing a replacement 5200 console, shell condition doesnt matter as long as console is 100% working. and at a fair price.. thanks! 2 or 4 port model, it doesnt matter which.

    I'd check or replace the 2 silver polystyrene caps. They're a common failure item and extremely cheap. You can see them in the lower left of this pic from my parts system.

    I ended up buying a pokey and the [2] 820pU mylar sounds caps... It was the caps !

    sounds great now !

    Good! I'd forgotten to check back in on this thread. Those caps are used in 2600s, 5200s, 7800s and more. Always replace in pairs. The weakest one goes first, and the other follows quickly.

     

    great! so i can take a few from a dead 7800 i have, nice. great to knwo guys, i ask about this issue some eyars ago here, and none seemed to have an answer, now that old closet sitting 5200 will be back in service !

    tablet pc, android to the list. works great, looks great, we dont need it any more, the wife got a new netbook. im not sure the brand, its from china haha, 7'' screen.comes with nice body glove case. they sell on evil bay for around, to over 100.00 and ship from china. $50.00 OBO shipped takes it.,*note* i do not have the ac adaptor to the android, i use a universal and it works just. SALE IN PROGRESS
