Maybe people do this a lot, but this is the first I've ever seen them use the large heading font for the entire description. Added with all CAPS makes me wanna gouge out my eye balls ... or just one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=18809 Tad

Figures you just get one now, cause Wed. night I picked one up at an auction for $10! I'll probably eBay it, as I need the money. Oh well... Tad

Believe me, I know you can reply to idiot feedback. If only you got that many characters to reply. And his ebay username is slighty different than that. That was his hotmail id. His eBay Id is: sylvialabelle (his mom's name). Sadly there is pretty much no sense in contacting eBay. I'd have to hire a moderator for $20 and I don't really feel like spending that kind of money. Anyone know what this Commodore 128 cord is??
bjybjy replied to bjybjy's topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
Yeah, it was made by suncom (good eyes) I have some of their other controllers from some quiz game? that all 4 controllers numbered 1-4 have phone adapter plugs. Weird... Thanks, Tad -
Its nothing for me to list a $15 cart. I buy lots of gameboy games on a regular basis off eBay and relist them indivudually. You'd be surprised how much you can make doing this. It only takes me about 5 minutes to list them, and about 5 minutes to package them, so 6 an hour x $5 profit each, its like a $30/hr job. Not bad really. As per my negatives, of the 6 I have, at least half are "totally stupid" comments. I.E. "Seller never contacted me" when in reality I had sent like 4 emails, etc. Oh well, price of doing business. Still makes me mad though. Ah well.

I think it is Commodore 128, though it could be for a 64 or Amiga. I hit the motherload at an auction today: 8 boxes of commodore stuff for $11, including new boxed color monitor, 128 system, and 64c system, 100's of disks and more. I'm so excited. Anywho, anyone know what this is? It looks like a joystick extension with a phone cord adapter.... weird. Any ideas? Tad

Yes, I used to love CS, but after playing Day of Defeat (DoD) once, I was hooked. DoD is much better IMHO. Better graphics, more realistic weapons/damage, and you respawn every 15 seconds on most maps. Also I've found that servers tend to be faster in general, and maps load faster than CS. Tad

Well I enjoy it when they pay and bid high, but this guy really pissed me off tonight. I sold a Metroid II gameboy game to a guy from Canada for $15 plus $2 shipping. $17 total. He takes just shy of a month to pay, I mail the game out fast after getting payment, and like 3 days later (tonight) he leaves me this negative: 30 bucks and the internal battery was damaged and will not work, BUYERS BEWARE He never emailed me or anything. And stop me if I'm wrong, but I had no idea that Metroid II had an internal battery??? I don't remember being able to save games. And I'm not sure where he got the total of $30. I'm really pissed. I pride myself on having good feedback 1218 positives to now 6 negatives. The only thing I can think of is that he mistook this for another auction and left me a negative by mistake (lucky me). I can't bring up his past won auctions becuase they are all over 30 days old. He is just a kid, and the only reason he didn't pay fast was he was waiting for his paycheck to clear. His email is brian_labelle69 for peaks sake. AHHH. Anyways, I emailed him asking what the hell he was thinking and we'll see if he gets back to me. //rant Man I feel ... a little better... now Thanks for listening. Tad

How many you need?? There are ... 5... I think.. brand new in original boxes at this auction I frequent. They apparently sold a couple weeks ago and the owners left it behind. If they are there this week I'll snatch em. They are off brands, built to hold something like 16 intellivision or 14 2600 games (I dunno how, just looked on the box) PM with any offer and include shipping. The auction is Wed. night. Thanks, Tad

It is the same game as World Class Track Meet. Ban Dai never had the rights to it, and was sued by Nintendo to stop making them, making it a rarity. With the pad like that, I'm going to say $400. Tad

Anybody interested in a Cookie Monster Munch game, still in original shrinkwrap? Has 3 price tags on it, 2 from original store, one from a second hand store Box is very lightly pressed in, not really crushed, just kind of lightly dented. I'd say like a 7 or 8 out of 10 though. I can send scans if interested. PM with any offers. I'm really looking for some paypal or cash (college tuition bill is here) but if the deal is good enough I might trade it for dreamcast, gameboy, or other stuff. Just offer! Thanks, Tad

Oddest non-game thing you have sold on Ebay (and will admit)
bjybjy replied to Cassidy Nolen's topic in Auction Central
Yep, those are the ones. The 1,5, 10 Pfennig black zinc coins with swastikas. There was like a billion of them minted (they are the ET of the coin world). For like a year I picked them out of the junk bins, then I asked a dealer if he had any he'd like to get rid of, and he came out with two BOXES of them from the back and said $15 for both boxes. There was like 175 coins. I think the highest amount I got for three coins was something like $38. I figure I made over $1000 on them, and I pieced them out over like a year and a half. They still sell, too. I found about 10 in a box the other day that I never sold and I put them up in two lots and got like $16 for all of em. They've come down in price, but as long as you group 4 or 5 together they bring a lot more than what they are worth to a coin dealer/collector. Cheers, Tad -

Hmmm... lets see.... Old CastIron Microphone I got free at a yard sale and sat on my mantle for 15 years brought $950 Fender Guitar I my dad had since the 60's brought $1,000 Wednesday I bought this random tool at an auction for $5. I looked it up on ebay and it sells for over $700 Jewel Tea tooth powder can, unopened, $250 Nazi Swastika Coins... I was the FIRST seller of these. I bought like 200 from a dealer for $.10 a piece, and sold on eBay 3 at a time, often 3 bringing over $20. Old 1880s book on manners Decorum, $160 Dish Netword PVR recorder brought $270 and I could go on. I just wanted to brag Tad -
Dunno if any of you have seen this or not, but I thought it was pretty interesting. Cheers! http://sf.victoly.com/Bit-Rot/ Tad

Stupid ebay: "Your search returned too many listings.&q

If it happens, just hit reload. They are working out bugs, and this has been happening on and off to me for a week or so. Tad -
I do not know how much it would weigh, but if once packed it weighed over 13 ounces first class mail would mean priority. Priority mail is defined as 1st class mailing of items over 13 oz. Who knows what he did, but just something to consider. If he put it in a big priority box with padding it might be over 13 oz. Though in a bubble mailer I don't see how it could be 13 oz. Hope you get resolution though. Cheers, Tad

Ok, I gotta share... right now I am selling an SNK Sega Saturn game... nothing real spectacular. But I'm thinking about listing it as "Ghost in a compact disc" as there is some sort of curse on this item. It has sold 5 times in past auctions, and 5 times the buyer hasn't paid and I've had to leave negative feedback. It is different people each time. Once was a guy that said his sister bid and he had no control over her, another was a kid who lost his after school job and couldn't pay, and 3 times just no contact. I've been trying to sell this since last year!! LOL Anymore, non paying bidders are not uncommon, but damn I'm getting tired of seeing this game sit, all boxed up, on my shelf. hehe Anyways, I just had to share/vent. Thanks for listening. I guess thats what you would call it. I've been watching it, but it is now too expensive for me. I thought I'd post it here because the listing is rather obscure and might not be seen by most. I was hoping I'd get a really good deal. One sold for over 100 pounds a couple weeks ago. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...6&category=3592 Hope someone gets a good deal on it. Oh if only I weren't so cheap... Cheers, Tad
