  1. the game brain changer allows you to plug in 8 games and switch between them as you go. I saw one at a shop here in town but they want a lot for it. Are they worth anything? Thanks, Tad
  2. Watch out, as he is selling a waterworld, xbox,, and PS2 the same way. Tad
  3. lol reply took about 1 minute: You dont have to be sarcastic I dont have a scanner and These pictures represent my game perfectly.. Man I'd give him $500 for it.
  4. Alright, I sent him this email, lets see what he says in reply. lol Wow, thats great! This is in really good condition. But ya know what makes this great for me? This will be great in my collection! I mean wow, this looks just like the Quadrun pictures from Atariage.com! Even the slight scratches on your game match the picture of Quadrun from the site! It must be the same game! And your scans of the manual! Man! They even had the SAME filename as the atariage manual scans! Wow! I'd almost think you stole those copywrited images and are using them for your own auction! You know though, I just need more info. Can you copy some pictures from another atari website, and send those to me too? Then I'll feel safe buying a $300 game from you. I mean hey, if I'm gonna send that kind of money I dont want to get cheated or anything. Heck, I'd be able to press legal charges over $300. Thats a misdemenor punishable by up to 18 months in jail. But of course you knew that, thats why you are getting the perfect pictures to represent your games, right? Thanks!
  5. DO NOT BID!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!! I emailed the seller and asked for pictures. He sent every image from Atariage. Even the manual page scans. He didn't even change the picture names. Aargh! I hate people like this. I'm gonna reply and ask if he has any pictures from any other Atari based websites he could send, too. Say I'm a collector or something. Heh Wonder what he'll do? Tad
  6. This seller is selling basically every rare game for the Atari 2600 and has them listed in the wrong category. Think they are real auctions? I'm not gonna bid. Tad http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?...&sort=3&rows=25
  7. I bought a shrinkwrapped Spiderman for $3.50 plus shipping before the movie came out, and sold it for I think $36 after the movie came out. So yeah, I noticed an increase. Tad
  8. Seller said he got 60 boxed Atari games for about $2 each at an estate auction. (I emailed him) He had no idea any of the games were particularly valuable. Tad
  9. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...=ADME:B:SS:US:1 Also has boxed Rubiks Cube and a few other 2's and 3's boxed. I mailed him and told him it was rare. Tad
  10. I hadn't found anything at the Salvation Army in months but I still stopped everytime I drove by. Well today for $5 I got an Intellivision system and 28 games. Most of the games came with the overlays and instruction booklets. Some of the rarer games were Motocross, and Dungeons and Dragons. I had stopped at about 20 yardsales prior to this and found nothing, so this made my day much better! Tad
  11. Actually more like half a text book , but since I shattered my elbow and cant work for awile I need to get every dollar I can from selling on eBay. Hopefully my cast will come off before I go back to college. I go get reconstructive surgury in about... 5 hours now. Check your email munky! Tad
  12. sweet! thanks! thats got to be record speed for my auctions!
  13. Actually there is a form somewhere under seller services that has eBay refund your money from deadbeat buyer auctions. Law & Order is on so you'll have to find it yourself. Tad
  14. Sorry Stan but I cant resist posting here. Selling these so I can pay my college tuition bill for next semester. Check out if you're interested. Thanks, Tad http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1370550270
  15. dude, if I ever got to touch the box I'd never wash my hands again. Oh wait... I don't anyways. But still... Tad
  16. Ok, maybe I'm missing something here... say for instance he paid with a check and then wanted the item sent to an address other than the one on the check... would you do it? I sure would, without question. Could he still cancel the check? Yep. I've sold probably close to 100 things through paypal, and probably half of them have gone to unconfirmed users. None of them gave me a hard time. I don't think this guy did until you gave him a hard time. I think in this case you stepped out of line. You entered into a binding legal contract to sell him that item. He could send it to Nepal, and as long as he pays for it, you have to send it there. Period. I don't know if he has or will, but I would say he'd be justified in leaving you negative feedback if you won't send it to the address he asked. Just my 2 bits. Tad
  17. As a seller on eBay I've noticed the following: 1. To avoid any problems send stuff in boxes if it can be broken in mail. 2. Priority mail now costs almost the same as parcel post. Look it up. I went to send a 5 or 6 pound box the other day and the difference between parcel and priority was like 45 cents. 3. If you want to make a profit consistantly calculate postage before giving total to bidder, and then just charge exact shipping. I post right in my auction : "Buyer to prepay plus exact shipping costs, will probably be around $4 or so". Anymore if you are just 1 or 2 pounds off in calculating the total, or if you are a couple zones off, you might end up having to absorb a $4 or $5 lose. I know, because I did this the other day. Tad
  18. Lets end it right now.. I'll give you $20, and you pay shipping. Deal? Let me know! Tad
  19. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1748078787 Check that out... its not mine or anything, but someone might get a REALLY good deal. Tad
  20. Well this one is gone. I emailed the seller asking if I could get the paperwork to scan. She lives like 15 minutes from me. She already sold it at a flea market though. The horror... Tad
  21. I've sold on eBay for like 5 years. My feedback is almost to 800. I had 2 negatives (both undeserved) back like 2 years ago. Then clean up until now. In 3 weeks I've gotten 3 negatives, all for stupid things. 2 of them were because I didn't contact the bidder.... only I did! Even after re-forwarding the message to the people they still say I never emailed them. And another thing broke in the mail and I got negative feedback. I've sold for many years, and I've never had the problems I've had as of late. Has anyone else noticed this? Tad
  22. I won the auction, and just got the carts. That wasn't a melted Combat cart, it was Quadrun!!!!! Yep. No, really. It was ! I swear. Actually it was an asteroids with Black Crayon melted on it. No, no it wasn't. Ok, so I didn't bid. But tell me how cool it would have been to have it be a Quad. Oh yeah. Tad
  23. Some people just don't get it, do they King Asmo. As for you Tim keep us posted on whats going on with that jerk. You can beat him eventually. And ignore some of the more nosey people here. Your business is none of ours. Keep in touch man. Tad
  24. If I can give you one piece of advice, don't use reserve auctions on eBay, especially not for something as low as $10 in price. Also if you start it at $9.99 instead of $10 its cheaper. I've found that the exact same item will almost always sell less than normal if it has a reserve. Tad
