    Schitti is picking me up!---------------->After a ride of 5 hours we finally reached our destination!------->Ingo and Michael giving us some beer and a warm welcome!

    Archon tournament!! Schitti against me..............after a tough fight I did win!------------------------------->( No perspiration no victory) :D

    Next match was Ingo against Michael (Pitfallharry_de). But this was only a warm up for Michael as you can see on the pics!(Poor Ingo) :P

    I was well prepared with my weapon of choice but Michael was in his early years the "Archon Hero of his street".........CHEATER!!! ;) :x

    After breakfast Marc (Oberhäuser), Simon (Quernhorst) and Tom (cybertom) joined the meeting! :thumbsup:

    During Ingo´s "Show and Tell" we have had some spare time to play some Atari 2600 RealSports Tennis....... :D

    Playing games.....DECATHLON 400m and 1500m!!!!, eating pizza and watching Marc when he is showing us how to hold the Intellivision controller! :D

    On the next day we have had breakfast, played some games, had some fights and then it was time to say good-bye! :sad: :)

     

    Thanks to Ingo and his family for this great weekend. It was really a blast! :thumbsup:

     

    A blast indeed! An event we have to repeat several times a year!

    Ok, so we have one year to find one! :D

     

    I found an easier way for Ivan to get a (homebrew-) sealed STRONGHOLD. It takes just a few steps to get collector´s heaven (but sometimes it ends in a little disaster).

    I made a step-by-step pictured instruction - take a look, but DON´T DO THIS AT HOME!!!!!

     

    Step 1: First of all you need a complete Stronghold. For the purpose of testing you can use another game (f.e. Quadrun, Video Life etc.) first.

    Step 2: Second thing you need is a roll of plastic wrap, because seal a game with paper makes no sense...

    Step 3: Third thing you need is an oven (alternatively you can use a lighter, but that method is more risky...)

    Step 4: Cut off about half a meter of the plastic wrap, the game should be skrinked within (it should never be too short but also not to long, otherwise the shrinkwrap might get some wrinkles)

    Step 5: Put the box carefully onto the platic wrap and watch out for dust bunnies and carpet-bobbles - better use a plain surface to to this step!

    Step 6: Wind the foil arround the game box (after that you can truncate superfluous foil)

    Step 7: Adjust the oven temperature EXACTLY to 220 degree centigrade (428 Fahrenheit) - this is the most risky part. The wrong temperature with the wrong plastic wrap could lead to a terrible result!

    Step 8: Put the wrapped box on a grill-grid right on the middle level of the oven

    Step 9: While you wait EXACTLY 30 minutes keep an eye on the box - so 30 minutes feel like 3 hours....

    Step 10 - RESULT: Horrible! - Something went wrong. Too cheap plastic wrap?! - Temperature slightly too high or low?! - A few seconds too long heating-endurance?!

    Well, at least it looks like a very rare sealed Atari 2600 game.... ;-))

    Here we go again! I am starting this new topic because Marc, Michael (pitfallharry_de) and some others wanted me to do it...... :D

    Eurocon 2008 is over and our friends from Austria (Dieter, Eric, Martin and Reinhard) decided to arrange the Eurocon in 2009!

    So keep your fingers crossed for our mountain boys! :thumbsup:

    hi,

    das bild war wirklich ein guter gag. die börse war auch super. nachträglich ärgere ich mich, daß ich nur samstag da war.

    das beste war ehrlich gesagt nach der messe der smalltalk.

    ....und die vielen gutgelaunten leute und der humor sind genau meine kragenweite.

    von meiner seite aus geht das klar nächstes jahr. sind ja nur noch ca 360 tage :cool:

     

    Mit dem Humor is das so ne Sache...........,bei manchen Jungs muß mer uffpasse was mer sacht...... :D

    Dann sehen wir uns ja bald in Austria...... ;)

     

    Jörg fängt bestimmt bald mit dem Countdown an;)

     

    Mich wundert es wirklich, dass es noch keinen neuen Thread
