Goldeneye and Mario Kart 64 worthless? That is blasphemy. I lived in a fraternity house when this system came out and We would have 4 player battles for hours on end with this system and these two games. Well worth the purchase.

Moycon, I got my x-box for christmans as well and as of yet have not had any freezing problems. I keep mine in a TV cabinet stacked on top of my DVD/VCR. I have not played it a ton but I have logged at least one 3 hour or so session of Halo with no problems.

I always liked my PS1 With Twisted Metal and Tekken 3 your really do not need any other good games. I got my money's worth out of those.

Really, how would you know for sure everything he said is in the box is in the box and new without opening it. Couldnt someone get a bunch of VCS boxes, fill them with whatever was about equal in weight and then seal them up?

I would have to partially agree or at least understand were Adrian is coming from on this. I was a sega fan from the geneis and bought the Sega CD and so on getting let down each time. I did not get a Dreamcast solely because of this. If I had bought one at launch only to have sega yank it off the market I would have been very Jaded. I got my DC way after its release for cheap and I love the cheap games and the ability to play emulation on it plus movies!

Are there any online stories to read about Halo. I love the storyline but really do not want to shell out the cash to buy the books. Plus I can read stuff on line at work but If I bust out a book some heads might turn.

I was told by someone that having the memory card allows you to save at any point in some games rather than having to wait until you hit a savepoint? Prince of persia sands of time was the game mentioned. Is this true?

I usually do not use cheats but can anyone in hear honestly say they beat GTAIII without the all weapons cheat, health Cheat or persuit off cheat? Also those cheats made the non-mission parts of the game much more fun!

Ok cool..... I was going all around the main building and finding nothing. I will have to check that out. I have about 5 relaties staying at the house for the hollidays so I am not getting much game time right now.

Since this thing has a hard drive is there really any advantage to getting a memory card? I will not have any need to take saved games over to a friends house, and this is the only reason I could see getting one for.

Update... I got through the secret cave part and I am on to fighting the Aliens in the 3 buildings just inside the blue lights. This is where the middle building shoots that huge blue beam of light. I have gotten used to the warthog and find it pretty cool to drive now. When you pull up to the main building with the blue light it says why dont we investigate the inside of this building? I cannot seem to find anything here. Is there something I need to pick up or just kill all the aliens?

Know before they evac ship drops off the warthog I was helping the marines kill covenant soldiers. Once the warthog is dropped off though they all dissapear. Are there still some scattered around that area you help them fight in or do I have to go into that Cave to rescue them?

I do not think I ever played the original R-type on the NES? So I am not sure what the memorization patterns were.
