I guess I am not as critical of games as others. This game locked my attention for a few hours and has me thinking about it right now. I cannot wait to play some more. I am on the mission where you have to rescue the 3 seperate groups of marines and got the warthog to the Secret Cave but did not realize I could go into the warthog and use the machine gun. My gunner died during my learning how to drive the damn thing. This will help my not dying at this part of the game I am sure.

Best Gaming Christmas in a long time! Got an Xbox with mechassualt and Splinter Cell, also got Halo. Woot!

Unless the game gets worse the further you get into it I am going to have to storngly disagree with that one.

I did find myself looking at the way the wheels were pointing and having some trouble. I corrected that.

I will say this about the game. I had never really liked FPS games on consoles, Goldeneye was fun in 4 player mode but used to love them on the PC. After playing Halo with the xbox controller I do not know if I can bo back to the mouse/keyboard controlls of the PC. It took about 2 minutes to get used to the xbox controller. Very nicely setup in my opinion. The game is also like playing in a movie. Kind of starship trooperish and cool.

The controls just seem very delayed on that. Like I am alwasy spinning out. Maybe I need to lay off the left anaolg stick a little!

Man this is a great game! I finally had some time last night and played for a couple of hours. It was awesome. Just when I would get to the point were I thought, man this game is easy, I was dead! That warthog is one hard mother to drive though!

Did a little googling for ya and it looks like the only gun game out for the Box right now is the House of the dead. Looks like you might have to wait a little while before they put out some more.

I am to the stage 3 or 4 where you first meet up with a mech to fight against. I keep getting killed by this damn thing. What is the best way to fight it, should I not blow up all the building in the encampment so I have some things to hide behind? Should I use Rockets? Any help would be great.

Yeah it is a fun game. I used to play Battlemech I think it was called with dice back in the day too!

Cobra Triangle is one of my favorite NES games. It rocks. I have Cobra triangle and Gotcha, are these games that rare? Are they worth much?

Tetris Galaga GTA III

Woooooot! Got an X-Box for christmas and I am so pumped about it! I got mechassault and splintercell as pack in games and I got Halo as a gift. I played through some of mech and splintercell, pretty good games so far, I like mech alot but the controlls in splinter cell are kind of crappy. Just wanted to let you guys and gals know I am in the next gen gaming world now!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad is nto a gamer at all but he bought an X-box just for this game and has been playing it nonstop! He is only 14% done and stuck on some major battle that he cant get through. It must be a good game to hold his attention though.
