I believe you can play the game without going online. Just not against other real people. Not sure though, I have never played it myself. Anyone else have any info on this?

I know they shut down Phantasy star online servres, but I believe there is some other stuff still up.

I do not know much of anything about the Neo Geo other than when it first came out I could not believe games were like 300 dollars a piece. Was this thing that advaced for its time? Are the games that hard to find now that they go for 1500?

And if you planned on never buying another game again then this would be a good comparison. Like the others said, see which game library you like the most and go with that system.

Going off the assumption that it is an X-box what platinum hit games would you recommend. Max Payne? Hitman 2? Also how much is the GTA double pack, I saw it at best buy but it did not have a price on it.

Ok, I am getting really excited and do not want to be let down come christmas time. I think my dad may have gotten me an X-box for christmas. Now I am an adult and should, would be happy with anything from him but he came by my house the other night and dropped off a pkg for me and one for my wife. Mine was about the size of the box it comes in and weighed a Ton! The X-box is the heaviest of the new systems correct? I am starting to get pumped! Watch it turn out to be a set of dishes or somehting.

Yes Genesis controllers do rock. The reason it bothers me so much is that the DC controllers are great other than that. Probably one of my favoriet gamepads.

Why oh why did Sega ever put the controller cord coming out of the bottom of the Dreamcast controllers? Does this annoy the hell out of anyone else.

I think this thread got into my head! It has been a while since I had a good gaming session so last night I fired up the old dreamcast and started to play some Dave Mirra. After about two minutes I started to think about this thread and then proceeded to feel like I was going to throw up and got a headache. I had to switch to NFL2k. It sucked. That has never happened with that game before.

No image and the auction ended due to listing errors. Hmmm..... I think something was up with that auction.
