  1. An improbability drive would knock out every possible 2k 2600 rom instantly. But, yes, I mentioned that earlier, computers will continue to grow more powerful, and eventually be able to make us every 2k 2600 rom ever :-)
  2. how did they look or sound so far off? man you got your nose stuck up marios butt, man. I have the NES & 7800 version of almost every game that existed on both platforms, and the 7800 spanks down the NES. It's not even debateable.
  3. agreed, Ultima definately should have been mentioned. It did, after all, appear on the nes/gameboy. It was definately a console oriented slant, so by the time the 2600 hit, i tried to stick mostly to consoles. And wasn't moria a 'hack' upgrade?
  4. u could do it, use double click for extra functions. whether the button is held while twisting the paddle or not could determine whether you are moving your cursor. or even just have it cycle down the screen in rows, paddle allows for fast movement
  5. yea i had to book pre-ordered, and read it cover to cover as soon as I got it. nice pictures. but it has nothing on phoenix. Very enjoyable, though.
  6. really? your little mp3 demo REALLY reminded me of mules music
  7. that might be a simple hack. just add an enumerator to speed up the game as the levels increease
  8. See, thats the spirit! That's much better. Zylon :==> physically, mentally, or soul? well, physically 32, mentally 12 (I dont wana grow up I'm a toys R us kid!), soul one googolplex years.
  9. which just goes to show that Atari is better than old drug addled rock stars!
  10. dude all we need is bruce willis to re-gnite the sun with a nuclear warhead, thus killing himself, and making his daughter cry, while he wishes ther the best with her new boyfriend. i think im going to call jerry bruckheimer. who knew there were so many possible combinations of zeros and ones in a piddly little 2k
  11. Yes, I grasp the numbers involved. But can't you at least admit, that under certain entirely unlikely circumstances, it may be remotely possible?
  12. Oh, along those lines, if we can get the chinese doing this, thats a LOT more computers. :-)
  13. ONLY an insignifigant million. heheee... get bill gates to install it every xbox 2 & every ms os on up, so its always running on every pc/console. bet that would helpe the processing time. ALL of humanity MUST unite to make every 2k 2600 game ever! It will bring us together and save our planet, mark my words!
  14. Yea, but the # per second is not a set thing, it would change as more people ran the client and as processor speeds increased.
  15. just got mine too. havent had a chance to try it yet, but very nicely presented for sure!
  16. reprogram mule to use the paddles.
  17. oh, and googleplex is in an old episode of buck rodgers, which is why I've always known what a googol and a googolplex is, ever since I saw that episode.
  18. im just curious where you are getting your year count from? Remember my idea was a distributed computing environment, like seti uses. I know at some point that seti thing was out-performing all the super computers put together. I like the A.I. nolan bushnell, thats AWESOME, and hilarious.
  19. paul: make it a 64k or 128k cart so it can have absolute ARMIES of effects.
  20. i love ANY virtual light machine type stuff :-) It's why I bought a 3do, a jaguar cd, and a nuon.
  21. oooo http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/u...spb-allstars%2F super puzzle bobble all star for game cube (sorry, not 2600, i know.) HEY!!!! puzzle bobble would make a good 2600 homebrew, wouldn't it???
  22. No, no, i -EAT- Japanese, not read. I am from a time before language! 'we aim to create "play" that captivates the human heart' lol
  23. i think you should use it to buy something for me.
  24. the mythicon games firefly/sorceror are great too, they are very 'sloppy' to play, and the music is really freaky the drunker you get. truly the only funk music on the 2600
