  1. ive tried to email him several times. I had two copies, one for myself and one for a friend. and I never recieved anything, no extra boards, no manuals, no nothing. all i have is the source code and my nice boxes and two glitched carts. still a nice part of the collection though :-)
  2. almost finally had one for $69 dollars (most ill pay,) grrr Z
  3. classic gaming IS the 2600. It is the godfather. You will love and respect it, or it'll kneecap you with it's big baseballl bat. You may love other systems, but you shall put none before the 2600, sinner! It is the one true classic system, that died for your sins! :-) Z
  4. how about the 'sexy curves' model or the 'baby got back' model. :-) I just refuse to use something so ugly for my fave console. especially when it IS curvy, just the way I like my woman.
  5. It's a shame the space age joysticks were not well made. I loved mine. I still have a few from when I ordered them from my atari magazines. at least one still works. I loved the controller so much i bought extras from the atari store so i could still have a working controller when my next one broke. mastertronic made a knock off that is the exact same style of controller, but doesnt handle as well. Z
  6. http://british.nerp.net/80s/oldmags/sansei.jpg found at a local flea market for $3 The only difference between the one I own and the one pictured, is that it does not have a fifth button up by the stick, and the fire button is the same standard arcade style button as all the rest (not different, as in the picture,) Since the pic is b/w I will elaborate: The until is matte black metal, with 2600 color orange pin striping, and fake wood finish particle board blocks on the side. Coordinates VERY nicely with the original 2600s (especially the big sexy,)
  7. if 'big sexy' makes you think of some man ugh!, unless thats what you are in to, then by all means enjoy. but 'heavy six' is just so damn ugly. makes me think of some dense compound.
  8. its button layout is much better suited to games of the 2600s time too. http://british.nerp.net/experimental/80s/o...mags/sansei.jpg found at a local flea market for $3 The only difference between the one I own and the one pictured, is that it does not have a fifth button up by the stick, and the fire button is the same standard arcade style button as all the rest (not different, as in the picture,) Since the pic is b/w I will elaborate: The until is matte black metal, with 2600 color orange pin striping, and fake wood finish particle board blocks on the side. 9. c'mon, wouldn't it be cooler to say 'I found a "Big Sexy" today' instead of some heavysix thing? say it with me... "BIG SEXY" yea. thank you for your time.
  10. seems to be a theme in my life lately... with my wife, and with thrust dc
  11. 'big sexy' is so much nicer. its what the sexy curvy 6 switch 2600 deserves.
  12. Has anyone heard anything? I havent gotten any email notices of shipping or anything
  13. i hated the 500 xj. never felt comfortable to me, and always felt cheap. i used to make fun of the obscenly painful claw like hand that it produced and joke about how it would adhere to your hand and attack it. anyway. no love for the 500xj here.
  14. well it WAS the wico bat stick, until about 4 or 5 years ago, I found this: http://british.nerp.net/experimental/80s/o...mags/sansei.jpg at a local flea market for $3 The only difference between the one I own and the one pictured, is that it does not have a fifth button up by the stick, and the fire button is the same standard arcade style button as all the rest (not different, as in the picture,) Since the pic is b/w I will elaborate: The until is matte black metal, with 2600 color orange pin striping, and fake wood finish particle board blocks on the side. Coordinates VERY nicely with the original 2600s (especially the big sexy,) It died about 2 years ago, but an adept friend of mine repaired it (it was just the cord,) all actual arcade parts inside. and all the buttons work all the time, so u can hit u/d/l/r all at the same time if u want too, AND use the stick for very interesting results in some 2600 games :-) very responsive, very fast fire button. and AWESOME for any slide and shoot and asteroid style games. now all i need is a 2600-pc interface if junie would start selling them again! (so i can use it in mame with asteroids, pleadies, etc.)
