I would not write the z3k off as 'heavily redundant'. He (kevtris) takes a careful approach and he makes sure the 'emulation' is as accurate as possible. Add the low-latency hdmi up-scaler, and you have a pretty unique system. Yep, the z3k is where my money goes to if it's available.

Wow, it's now at £64,987 ! Still a month to go. I'm tempted to get this. I already have a lot of handhelds, but this one looks pretty unique.

So this deal is only hurting the kickstarter backers, since they now have to pay for the console AND the Coleco licensing. At the first Coleco announcement, I thought this deal could help in funding (so a kickstarter wasn't needed) and R&D... It looked like a great plan to me.

I find it a bit disturbing that they are announcing their kickstarter: (money!), while the prototype is still at the snes in a jaguar shell stage.

Maybe the power led will be of a special design that slowly alters through all the colors of the rainbow, like the colors in the 'coleco chameleon' logo.
