  1. Congratulations also from me Only for interest - how high is the HighScore finally ? 3xx k 4xx k ? greetings Tom
  2. Hi, @ Csonicgo if you want to play it only - you can download the rom and use the emulator ! @ Zeus I also don't think fakes will reduce the value of the originals it only makes the search for it harder because of identifying (IMHO it could rise the value for originals). @ Csonicgo your "smell method" isn't a really bad idea but how will you do that before bidding on such a game Of cause actually you can compare a repro with an original and see the difference but as i said maybe one day you can't see it any longer because the repros are perfect. Just think of the Audio CD replicas - here in germany you can see hundrets of them on the flea market - they are professionally assembled (mostly they come from Poland, Czech, aso)with original silver CD's professional Print, and professional Cover - it's nearly impossible to identify them as fakes ! I only wanted to say that it's not a good idea to make this repro carts of already released games - it only makes collecting harder greetings Tom
  3. Hi everybody, i found this one on ebay today : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...2&category=3528 It's a quadrun dump with self printed label. I ask myself what this should be good for ? Wether you can own a real cart and can be proud to have it in your collection or you just own a cheap replicant and say "yeah - i did it - i own a faked quadrun". It's the same if i have no money and print me 1 million in self printed Inkjet quality notes and say "i'm a millionaire" I mean releasing a prototype game is o.k. but why the f... releasing rare games ? Only to bring confusion and questions about authenticity of the rare titles ? I think this isn't a good idea because maybe one day somebody finds a cheap method to reproduce absolutely authentic looking labels and sells them as originals and who will identify them any longer without open it and ruin the label ??? greetings Tom

  6. Hi, i think Cosmic Commuter is the most sought after Activision game and a gap in many Activision collections greetings Tom
  7. Hi, i have the Pac Man and the Combat Atari Pack and both games where complete with Box and Manual and they look exactly the same like the standard retail boxed games. greetings Tom
  8. Hi, oh, Wing War - right, this one i'm missing too but as i said i spoke about all Silver Release Games and i'm pretty sure that Wing War never released as silver Label Or does anyone know the existence of one ? And i don't think that more than a handful of Sky Patrol boxes exist - i only know one collector who has it - so i know for sure that i never get my hands on one of this - so it's unreachable and for me not worth listing it in my want list greetings Tom
  9. Hello everybody, i got my copy of bumper bash today and the first thing i was wondering is that the manual is bilingual in english and french !? Second is the Cart, Manual and also the Box says Spectravideo not Spectravision - so for the first i thought that it must be a PAL version because in France they have Secam/PAL TV-System. I plugged the cart into my PAL console first and everything looked good - then i tried it in the NTSC and again - all colors look good and not strange or funky - normally you can use it as a hint to determine the TV-System if the colors look strange - f.e. if you have a game where the sky is pink but not so on the BB (even there is no sky in the game ) Does anyone have an idea how to identify exactly if the game is NTSC or PAL or is it for sure that there was never a PAL Version released ? thanks and greetings Tom
  10. Hi, and congratiulations So you're the one who catched the Silver Subterranea right in front of my nose I'm missing only the silver Subterranea to have them all silver and CIB and of course the extreme rare ones like Atlatnis II and Cubicolor. greetings Tom
  11. Hi, i'm missing them too but i only would buy them CIB I think it's not that easy getting them in the 100$ range each - especially Q-Bert's Qubes. The two games where sold in a lot on ebay a few days ago for 226$ but the labels where anything else but good : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=38597 Anyway good Luck  greetings Tom
  12. Hi, i think this is the point where you can spread the "real" collectors from the just for play "collectors" because i think and that also speaks for me that a true collector doesn't buy a game becuase of its good gameplay than because of it's rarity and condition (boxed and complete or not, good labels, nice cosmetic condition .. aso) greetings Tom
  13. Oh, and the boxes ain't cheap either.... I only get ones with boxes if say, it is only going to cost me $.50 or so more than the cart itself. However, I am a sucker for manuals so that can bump it up a bit. I finally got all of my manuals filed (5 x 7 photo sheets in a 3-ring binder fit most of them) and it is great! Laura Hi, i store the Boxes all in displays and on shelfs, the carts are extra stored in a special shelf which is selfmade and optimized for cart storage (maybe i'll post some pics if anyone is interested in this) and the manuals i store in clear document cases and sorted by company they are stored in office organizers. And your bill with the boxes doesn't really go up on the rare titles greetings Tom

  16. Hey Guys, first of all i have absolutely no intention to fake some Pics with Photoshop. I'm trying to get a Hardcore Box Collector and for that i'll pick up everything i can get for fair prices (for the first And as i told i only got the box without cart or anything but the seller told me there was a normal picture label cart inside but he already sold it seperately in the past and the Box was left over. So i'm really interested in seeing a blue cart if it also exist. Then it would become my 5th Space Invaders Label Variation greetings Tom
