Nice! Thanks for scanning it.
-
Sure I can do this That's fantastic!! You can just post the scans here or in my "wanted thread"or even PM them to me if you prefer. Thank you so much!
-
Wow! That is a great haul, congrats. Is there any chance you could scan that X-Man manual? It is one of the few that are missing from the 2600 manual set.

If you are a member of UndergroundGamer you can get them in a torrent here... http://www.underground-gamer.com/details.php?id=40051 When I get some free time I will try to reupload to a public site...

I'm thinking I'll release the original prototype ROM shortly, and then the full version (with the menu and "Enhanced" version of the game) after I've sold 'x' number of copies of the physical game. Perhaps when 200 copies of been sold. This was an expensive game to produce and I'd like to recoup my costs. ..Al Sounds good to me.

How soon can we hope for a rom release? Is it just when the carts are sold out or is there a time frame?
-
I read them all as they were scanned but I'm sure most people haven't seen these in years. I had not realized that there was any question of the competition happening... Anyways, here is the rest. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BTAVBR61 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4V537HRG http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F6SCBV6A http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G9G66HAN

AtariAge/Monkey Labs "Secret CGE Project" Label Making Contest!
user42 replied to Cebus Capucinis's topic in Atari 2600
Wasn't it obvious from the beginning..? Those cart magnets that Cebus Capucinis was talking about back in march... http://www.atariage...._magnet__st__25 http://www.atariage.com/features/shows/cge2010_preview/magnets.html -
This one took some work... All I could find for art was a photo of the front of the arcade machine. As most of you know "Elk Attack" was just a WIP joke name for the game "The Electric Yo-Yo" so without further ado..

Try O2EM http://o2em.sourceforge.net/

Here's a new one... Anyone know how many "games" are in the Boggle rom; 5 was just the number on the Sky Diver box....
-
WAIT! When did they get that?? Thanks for the heads up.
-
Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen scans of the Mission Survive box on the internets either. So that is definitely worth doing.
-
Super cool.

Congrats on the find. Do you own a scanner? I would really love to see scans of the Mission Survive manual, if it's not too much trouble.

Any purists give up and go the PC Emulation route?

My desktop... Open gamebase... Select Game (read manual, look at art, ect..)... Play game.. My USB controller box... -
I have made alot of them over the years for gamebase, but I also have some that are made by others. I tried to only grab the ones that I made....but if I post one here that is not mine, I apologize to the creator.

I'm sure they chose the vader for ease of printing. You only need two colors (two screens). Trying to screen print realistic wood grain would be a huge pain...
-
Nice score BTW. Congratz!

Look out! He's got a red pen!!!

Looks like a Europe release... (note: the collection that I pulled this box from has alot of "custom covers" in it but I think this one is a real scan...) EDIT: Upon second glance , I take it back, I think that cover is fake. Sorry.

You can get exotic hardwood veneers to lay over a cheaper wood much cheaper than buying a chunk of exotic hardwood. You reminded me of this Wooden HTPC Case that I just saw... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811204039 ...man, do I wanna build something in that....
