  1. Some mighty fine scores there! Wow... time to brush up on Robotron! :)

Over 2 million? Really? Even on standard difficulty? The game is ridiculous, I'm calling bullshit on this one - no pic, no count. Am I missing something on this game?

Now, now, let's be nice here. For one thing pics are not required and another I've personally scored that and more myself so it's not like it's impossible or anything. Robotron is a game that requires both a lot of practice and luck as well. If you can get in "the zone" you'll be surprised at the scores that can be obtained. Plus having both controllers secured in place helps immensely. I place the stock 7800 controllers in the coupler made for the 5200 ones but invert the coupler so it holds the smaller 7800 controllers more securely. It's not perfect but much better than trying to hold them in your lap without anything holding them together.

Ok, my apologies. Understood. I'll have to give the 5200 coupler a shot with it, but I am having issues scoring higher than that by myself. Scores are not valid with 2 players playing a one player game, right? I used to score higher with my friend shooting and me moving the character.....haven't done that in years. Please let me know if that is valid. Hope you didn't already state that....

    Thanks!

  2. Bob is king once again - Thanks for supporting 7800 development - the users on this forum have said it all - the 7800 has become the king of the homebrew due to awesome arcade ports brought to it by folks like Bob. Count me in for a cart, and I hope you are able to put a little (or more!) in your pocket for all of your incredible efforts. Kudos, Bob. You truly are the man.

  3. I've downloaded the screen shots, or pics, whatever, I've looked at the hints, and the quotes, and nothing comes to mind for me. Did the slideshow on the ProSystem emu. I too am curious as to what this new game for the 7800 might be. Thanks, hope to hear something soon.

  4. I wished the stelladaptor worked for the 7800 ProSystem Emulator....I can never put up competitive scores using the arrow buttons on the keyboard....

The stelladaptor is compatible with the 7800 ProSystem Emulator. You just won't get the use of both buttons. For this game it's not needed. If the game start is initialized by one or the other fire buttons just either assign the correct one or both to the same single button.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Feel like I've been through all the options, tried different controllers (3) on different games - and nothing works. The emu sees the adaptor, but it doesn't work when I try it. Frustrating. Any help, anyone? Thanks much.

Figured it out. Didn't know that the settings had to be on "axis up..." etc....
