Too late to get in on this? -
Played both Volified and Super Qix on the PS2, they both blow compared to Atari 5200 Qix.

Got my copy of Taito Legends for the PS2 in the mail, psyched to try out the Qix sequels....

XM - any chance it will be in our hands by Christmas?

Well, my apologies. I should have never asked from the start. This whole thread has gone ultra sensitive, as well as the other ones, forget about it, this is ridiculous and people are typically acting immature-ish in their retorts. Sorry for asking - I'm not following all of these threads 24 hours a day, I work 90 hours a week and enjoy my Atari when I get home late at night from my job. For maybe 30-60 minutes once a week. My sincerest apologies for being excited to receive the product I paid for over 3 years ago. And I'll wait another 2 years, without complaint. And ask any of the programmers, I pay for all of the products the day they come out, and support them to the end. I just was wondering behind the scenes when I could hear what the Donkey Kong XM game sounds like really, since I have the cartridge in hand. I don't think I was that wrong in making a post, but since these flames keep coming from snarky heads, I'll know in the future that I should keep my mouth shut and not post or contribute any thoughts in this forum anymore. I'll still PM programmers and support, and keep my questions to myself. I am very sorry to upset anyone on this forum, I'm a big fan of AA. -
Lutz - thanks! Did not know that. Will perhaps seek out a copy of that for the PS2.

I love Qix. I think it's one of the 5200's top titles. A 7800 version would be welcomed, for sure I think. It'd be nice to make it a sequel of sorts, perhaps with a goal, or some sort of bonus levels or bosses or both.....it'd be a neat idea.

I'm totally patient - and will wait as long as need be. I respect Curt and company big time for undertaking this massive effort. Just asking a question. -

Everyone in the know has seen the link, Corby. No need for sarcasm. The link isn't updated, hence the initial question. Everyone gets up in arms regarding this subject - I don't see the issue in asking the question. It's ok to ask. It's ok. -

108 stars. Yes, it did. -
Let us know and thank you.

Wait a minute - how do you do the "super punch"? I thought only the CPU could do it to you - at least in tournament mode. Please advise.....
-
I am sorry for the trash comment - I have the game, paid good money for it, I have a boatload of respect for Harry D and his work and programming. It just pales in comparison to Armor Attack II by Bob D - even though the games aren't really alike. But no offense meant to any programmer/homebrew creator.
-
I was gonna say - Combat 1990? That piece of trash can't be beaten. Anyway - this thread is a bit off target of what I meant - games like ballblazer and hat trick don't count IMO, as to be more clear - I am referring to games that end once you beat them, i.e. Ikari Warriors, not like when you complete all events in Summer Games. But CT - thank you - the compiled list is what I wanted from the beginning, much appreciated.
-
Commando doesn't actually end, I've "beaten" it before and it goes back to the beginning, correct?
-
How about a list of all the games - just for the 7800 - that are beatable - and that WILL END. I would like it to include all homebrews, everything. This means that the game will END. Like Fatal Run for example. Perhaps we could make a separate thread for the games that just repeat once you've beat all levels, but how about for this one just a list of all the games that are able to be beat and actually have an ending/and or will cease playing after you beat them. Thanks, Thursday83

Work In Progress: "Bentley Bear: Crystal Quest"
thursday83 replied to PacManPlus's topic in Atari 7800
That manual is awesome. I like especially how it says that you can beat the game. I wish they all stated that - it's motivation to keep going. Really psyched to play this - I've avoided it in emulation the whole time so I wouldn't spoil it for myself. I know from all I've read that it is going to be fantastic. Could be Bob's best work, we shall see! Thanks again Mr. DeFuckincrazymotherfuckercrenchenzo. -
Got mine in. It is awesome. But, Fuck, is it hard!!!
-
Got mine today. Thank u very much, Perry. Psyched to check it out at home after work tonight, regardless of sound.
