Just a big (older) kid who loves classic video games, board games, card games, animals, and exercise. Proud Libertarian. Hope that one day soon common sense, decency, equality, and peace will prevail in the world. That Man will finally realize that we are all interconnected AND connected to one God that allows us all to chose our own destinies. May God bless all creatures, big and small, wherever they may be.

  1. Spending quality time today playing arcade ports like Pengo, Frogger, Mercs, Ms. Pac-Man, Joust, and Truxton on the Genesis - I love these games.

I'll be playing several of those on the 5200 this Christmas!  Timeless classics.

Yep, we have a competition going on in my household to see who can get the highest scores on several 2600 games. I am losing rn lol. Maybe today's the day I reclaim my title on some of the games!

      All good stuff!

  2. I'll buy a controller and i'd love to get the Nomad. I hope they make it a reality.
  3. I'm looking into buying a Game boy Advance AGS 101 system (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Backlit-Nintendo-GBA-Game-boy-Advance-Custom-Backlight-orange-ags-101-brighte-/182598824064) but need to know if it's compatible with the EverDrive-GB X3? I mostly want to play Game Boy Color games on it and a few GBA games. Thanks.
  4. Classic handheld electronic games. I also have a Football 2 with no sound. Is anyone repairng these units anymore?
  5. What's the big deal about this, you can't play snes carts on it and it will cost almost as much (probably a lot more for most who really want this) as a Super Everdrive that will play most of the SNES library?
  6. I feel as Atarileaf does. Growing up in the '70's and '80's and experiencing the birth of home video game and computers. Atari 2600, 5200, 400, 800, ColecoVision, Intellivision, Commodore VIC-20, 64, Vectrex, Odyssey/2, Astrocade, etc. These are the 'classics' that paved the way for everything else since.
  7. Spent an hour last night playing Missile Command, Yar's Revenge, and Defender. In the early 80's when 2600 Defender came out I thought it was the coolest thing. Spent a lot of time over a couple of summer's off playing it. Still love it.
  8. Beautiful job! Maybe we can get that completed and on a cartridge soon.
  9. Sega Genesis Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Rocket Knight, and NHL '94 (along with the original Model 1 system mint in box from 1992).
  10. "The Fly" commercial is total Atari kick-butt and get out your Atari right now! The Fly
  11. Yikes, sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get back your favorites soon.
  12. Starmaster, Demon Attack, Phoenix, and River Raid. Basically most of my favorite shooters of all time.
  13. Usually my 13" Sony but sometimes the 27" Panasonic - both CRT TV's.
