  1. I'm also hoping they offer them a la carte, which I believe was their original intention. I actually use all three of mine, but I'm sure the vast majority of people who bought the adapters just wanted the Game Gear adapter and are now saddled with extra bits that they'll likely never take out of the box.

I definitely fall into this category. Tho I’ve been resisting starting a SG-1000 collection. :)

  2. Had I known I'd still not be able to play my Game Gear carts on the Mega Sg over a year later I'd likely have bought the MiSTer instead.

It's sad to see people paying $250+ on them.

You can always jailbreak your console to play Game Gear games if you don’t have an adapter. Sure you can’t use real carts, but neither can the MiSTer.

They really seemed to underestimate demand on these. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s another run at some point.

  3. My PC Engine setup has evolved over the years which has left me with a few cables I no longer need. So I figured I’d offer them up here for sale.

All prices are shipped within the US. I’d like to avoid international shipping at the moment due to the pandemic. Shipping in the US is slow as balls right now as it is.

    Payment accepted via PayPal.

Let me know if my prices are off base or if you have any questions!

    SCART RGB cable $20

SCART RGB cable with RCA stereo breakout $25

    Take both for $40 shipped.

Please note that you must have your PC Engine, Duo, or Turbografx console modded for RGB video to use these cables. I used these all with my PVM monitor with no problems.

SCART RGB plug and play adapter. Plug this into the back expansion port of your PC Engine for RGB video out with no modification. I used this with my Supergrafx until I got my SSDS3. Bought this on eBay a few years ago. $50

That’s it for now. Possibly more to come as I do more cleaning.

I assume these are impossible to get? What's the next best thing available, I've read some posts about composite sync and csync - bit confused....

Build your own or buy from Retro Access, they are consistent in following technical specifications with individual console video outputs.

I have the Retro Access cable and it works beautifully.  I have many of their cables and can't recommend them enough, plus they are really good at answering any questions you may have.  Here's a link to their Jaguar cables:

  5.   That is really well done, I think I am gonna try and make one. If you still have the label saved, I would love to use it.  Would you mind sharing it?

Thanks for sharing the pictures, I am definately gonna try it!

It’s been quite awhile since I did this with my skunk. But after trying to jog my memory I got the label and case ideas from this thread:

    Good luck!

  6. I tried to put in in a regular Jag shell but is would not fit. I guess maybe get the dremel out and see what kinda mess I can make. I was hoping someone had printed a shell for it. I have a printed shell for a skunk but it will not fit mine cuz of the 2 usb plugs on top.

I have the same style board as you. I got a empty cartridge shell off of eBay and used a Dremel to make room for the back ports. I also got a small USB extension cable and made a hole on top for that. I found a label image online and used my printer with sticker paper to make a label. Here’s a couple pics:

I too would love if someone would design a proper shell too, but so far this has been working for me. Hope this helps!

From May 20, even menthol cigarettes will be banned throughout the EU. The decision was made in 2016 and they had a grace period of four years to end sales. Not that it relates to your request but it is a sign you will find less and less of those flavoured products.

They will certainly be flavoured.  But it'll be the bold satisfying flavor of a bowling alley's mens room floor.  :D

  8. I've seen them on and off at a local antique mall for around $20 - $50 depending on vendor.  I scored one at an estate sale last summer for $5 and thought that was a pretty good deal.  Still kicking myself for passing on a payphone a few years back.  Good luck!

  9. I wish him the best. Schnuth, I hope you had permission from him to share such details here. If not, I wish I could un-read your comment.

He didn’t tell me any more than that, I didn’t ask for any details, and I wish him the best. Just figured I’d update this thread so people didn’t worry. If you feel that I’ve over stepped any boundaries feel free to delete my post.
