you mean change the colors in the game ? you can't do that with my program or other gfx change programs. you have to disassemble the binay image, and then look for the color registers. (you need to know a little assembly) Thelen

I've bought a colecovision a month ago. I was very impressed by looking at the games on an emulator, so i wanted the real system. It sounds nice to start the scene over again, but i think there are to less people with a system and games.(there are a lot, but they don't know that they have or don't use it anymore) But still there would be some people interested. but for me is it a problem to get games for it, on fleamarkets i've never seen anything. And and on ebay (in holland) there are only a few games. I'm thinking to make a ram cart or such a thing when i've got some time. what was that contest about ? Thelen

i haven't really heard anything about the stabulator/bjl boot roms,are you going to put 3 eproms in it or put all three images on one eprom ? if you put 3 eproms in it you can choose between the CE's of the erpoms with a switch for 3 choices. one eprom used you must choose with a 3 choice switch between the adress lines i'm guessing the resistors are needed to pull-down stuff (or pull up) thelen

berzerk was also on the vectrex. played it a long time ago, was nice but not as good as on the 400/800. don't remember if it had speech. thelen

it doesn't work for 5200 cartridges, they do not fit in a 7800 , the 2600 carts are the same size as the 7800 (the 7800 carts have 8 extra pins) thelen

an intel 386/486 is a good point, and cheap too. but i don't like them. i think a 6502 compatible processor is better. but you wanted to make a computer that created graphics like the atari 2600 and some sort of that, have you been thinking how you will generate a display/video signal ? what about the video hardware ? i think this is the hardest part...... making a computer with a processor isn't so difficult,the processor will execute your program, but to show some graphics/pixels on a TV.... thelen

sounds nice, designing a new system, but first i would forget the 2600/7800/5200 compatabiltity. i doubt if you know enough to create a new 'computer'. i'm thinking of creating a small computer too, but with a little lcd display and a 6507 processor (atari 2600) and a little ram etc. would it be possible to program a atari 2600 emulator in a microcontroller ? (never done anything with a microcontroller..) thelen

finally it works ! but it's a little strange. i tried an image of the game stario (stario.st), and that worked. when i later wanted to write another image to it it worked too ! but another floppie didn't work...all floppies work for me as i write stario stario (the first 2 sectors or more) to the disk and then the image i want. i want to convert msa disk images into real disks, i have lots of 720Kb disks, and i'm using stdisk. but when i try to use it it always says: adress mark error...what does that mean ? doesn't my drive support it ?, or is it maybe better to use a real 720Kb drive ? Thanks, Thelen

do you need it to create your boot disk ? if so, you can create it with MAKEDISK (or of course any other st/msa file) on your pc's diskdrive, that's a special program to wite atari st compatible disks Thelen
