Atari XE/XL Release List ? Difference?
Thelen replied to GameFreakNL's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
the xe was the new line of computers, replacing the xl line.the xe computers are the same as the xl's, except the 130xe which has double as much ram:128Kb. there are a few xe titles that only can be played on the 130xe. Thelen -

NINTENDO FAMILYCOMPUTER DISK SYSTEM
Thelen replied to Skywalker's topic in Classic Console Discussion
btw if it's for cheap I really should buy it, and some of them have a parallel port (or serial) so you can download rom files to it and play them on REAL hardware. thelen -
NINTENDO FAMILYCOMPUTER DISK SYSTEM
Thelen replied to Skywalker's topic in Classic Console Discussion
that thing what you have seen is a thing to dump cartridges to floppy disks, and it can load from floppy disks games to that device, so you can play games from floppy on the nintendo. i don't know the name of it anymore, and there are models for nes, snes, genesis. thelen -

I need some old computer experts!
Thelen replied to Atari Master's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
i would pick up the texas instruments computer, especially since it's boxed. not it's rare but i collect old game/home computers which are boxed. yes it depends on the $. not that a ti is so much fun as an atari, but i'm searching for a cheap one. and the commodore games can be fun if they are cheap too. thelen
