Fired this one up as part of my "Hey, it's Pac-Man's birthday!" celebration. Just wanted to kick in my 2 cents... The new ghost sprites are bloody adorable. The eyes make them look so cute, I almost feel guilty eating them. On a bug tracking note... I'm not sure if I could reproduce it if asked, but I found that if I left Pac-Man waiting near the lower right energizer, hoping for a ghost to come by for a bite, the red ghost would get caught in a loop circling the ghost box. Not sure why that happened. EDIT: Just tried it again... this time the red and pink ghosts got caught.

That would be a coaxial cable, then. Myself, I find it's just too much of a pain to hook the Atari up with other, modern consoles. The hook-up's just too ancient for the set! Since I need to have the console next to me anyways in order to hit reset or flip difficulty switch, I just have it hooked up to an older TV, all by itself. It's like a little Atari nook in one corner of the living It's quite cozy and I'm sure it's bad for my eyes.

That's the one! Thanks!

Mine's hooked up to the TV's coaxial input. Mind you, it's not a standard RF switcher, it has a coaxial output built in. If you've got an RF switcher with a coaxial output, or a convertor of some kind, you could probably just put a really long length of cable between the TV and the RF switcher.

Hey all. I'm trying to identify a game I played on the 2600 waaaaay back in the day. As I recall, you controlled a moon buggy or similar vehicle, scrolling sideways along some space world or another. The hook, as near as we could tell, was that it happened on two levels: the surface, at the top of the screen, and a cave at the bottom. You had a limited supply of fuel, which only seemed to be available in cans in the cave level. The trouble was you only had forward momentum, except at certain inexplicable times. I seem to recall you would reverse direction but only under certain circumstances. And often you would totally miss the fuel cans, or crash your buggy. I don't recall it being especially good, or even comprehensible, but I would like to finally figure out what it was called. I'm new around here, so forgive me if I've posted in the wrong place.
