  1. I like the looks of the game, but the aiming takes some getting used to. I am not sure if I will buy it.
  2. Trials is really fun, I love the demo but I know the game is super hard in the Hard difficulty and I really don't have patience for this type of game any more.
  3. Awesome. I picked the game up from Target when they (mistakenly?) had it on the shelf for $9.99 new!! I haven't played it yet though but I think you just gave me incentive to make it next in my queue. Recently I played through Golden Compass (awful game) and started Universe at War yesterday. We'll have to agree to dis-agree on Q4. I thought the campaign was kick-ass (and long) and the online Vs. I still play to this day! I hope you like FC2. I really really like it. Play it on easy, because even Normal can be really hard. There are bad guys who will ambush you all over the place so it is easy to die and lose progress (lost diamonds, etc) if you are not careful. Plus, there is no achievements tied to difficulty so there is no incentive to play on the harder difficulty I agree with you on Q4, the campaign was long (too long hehehe).
  4. I have played the following movie licensed games: Pirates of the Carribean: pretty average game but it is not horrible Ironman: I like this one a lot, once you get used to the control. I thought the key to any superhero game is that you have to feel like that character, and Ironman does this very well. It can be pretty tough too. I don't get all the hate for this game. Eragon: Terrible King Kong: I guess this is okay for a launch title, but I played it 2 years later and I didn't like it at all.
  5. I can't speak for GB, but Just Cause and Quake 4 are GREAT playthroughs!! Tonight I played Soul Calibur IV and Culdcept Saga with Gabriel. Great fun. I hated Q4, thought it was very derivative (even for a 2005 FPS). I did like Just Cause because it is so over the top. Plus, it is HUGE. Now I am playing through Far Cry 2. It is like a realistic Just Cause. I love how huge the world in this game. I can see people complaining about traveling for 10 minutes to get to your mission objective (although it takes me much longer because I am unlocking safe house/finding diamonds along the way). Very immersive game.
  6. All complete and in great condition. Shipping is $3 for first game and $1 each game thereafter. Paypal only (no fees). PS2 Guitar Hero (Shrinkwrapped) $12 Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria (Shrinkwrapped) $40 Shinobi $8 Bully (Greatest Hits, Shrinkwrapped) $10 360 Quantum of Solace $12 Quake 4 (includes Q2 bonus disc) $7
  7. For a launch title this game is great fun. Sure it looks a bit cartoony and feels a bit floaty compared to other FPSs that came later, but full blown co-op through the entire campaign (Something most newer games don't even feature), there's nothing better, and considering the game can be bought for about $8, picking it up is a no brainer. I wouldn't want to subject my friend to play this turd with me. And the graphics is the least of its problems.
  8. You really don't want Perfect Dark Zero. Throw Gears of War 1/2, Raiden Fighter Aces, Ninja Gaiden 2 on the list.
  9. Dude, if ever there was a reason to import, it's the PC Engine. Most systems of that era have four or five a-list shooters. The PCE has DOZENS. Seriously, it's become my favorite system next to the old 2600. Soooooo much awesome stuff. It was as popular in japan as the NES was here, so there are gads of great titles of all genres. As far as shooters go, here's a few to get you started: Gate of Thunder = Thumpin' sound track, inspired levels, great game Lords of Thunder = Power Suits, shops, selectable levels, items, and graphics that resemble a Neo Geo game. Salamander = vastly superior version of Life Force Xevious Fardraut Saga = Best Xevious ever Gradius I & II = best ports of both on any console Image Fight = This title seperates the men from the boys. Not pretty, but a shmup fans dream 1943 Kai: 1943 on crack Sapphire: uber rare, gorgeous shooter with fmv, real polygons, and graphics better than a PS1 shooter on a 16 bit system. Needs the arcade card Daisenpu: Fun, cheap 1943 knockoff with a neat special weapon system Aero Fighters: Tough, fast, and fun. R-Type: Beautiful clone of the arcade. Tough as hell. Raiden: It's Raiden. 'nuff said. Parodius Da: Konami cute 'em up. Fun, different. Fantasy Zone: Cute, fun, weird Darius Plus: Underwater themed shooter with steep difficulty And that, my friend, is not even scratching the surface. There are probably fifty or sixty more shooters to list. Add those to the tons of great platformers, puzzle games, fantastic strategy titles like the Nectaris series (the best console strategy series ever) and Macross: Eternal Love Story which allows you to command all the mechs from Robotech .... but I gush. Best 16 bit system ever. It's a damn cryin' shame US gamers never got to see the true potential of the Turbografx over here. Good list, but I prefer my Saturn + Import shmups because of better graphics and the beginning of bullet hell.
  10. You can't just leave it on for 96 hours and get the achievement. It only counts the time you actually played the game.
  11. Activision is the new EA with these updates or slightly different/repackaged titles. The music/rhythm genre has definitely reached its saturation point. As always, let the market decide. I don't care for so many of them, that's why I stick with Rock band the past 2 years and pick up the occassional Guitar Hero title on the cheap (like $10 or less).

  13. Great seller! I got the 2 360 batteries today, thanks!
  14. I am in the same boat. I make decent progress up until the early/mid 30's and then I would die continuously.
  15. Need to raise a few $$ today, lowered prices and added 1 new game (Rondo of Swords)
  16. This game is absolutely amazing. I don't follow baseball, and even news highlights can bore me (especially with all the talk about A-roid). So as a casual fan (at best), I am loving this game. Road to the Show (RTTS) mode is brilliant as always, but this year, I am playing 14-game seasons with different teams just to see all the different ball parks.
  17. Feel free to post anything about me, should be mostly good stuff
  18. Time to get rid of these games, all games are complete in very good condition. Feel free to ask any questions. Shipping is extra $2 for the first game, $1 for each additional game within USA. Paypal preferred, you pay the fees. -- DS Urbs $6 Meteos $7 Advance War Days of Ruin $11 Rondo of Swords $13 Gamecube Resident Evil 4 (non-player's choice) $7 360 Lost Odyssey $14
  19. Very nice, I just started Gundam 2 days ago and only unlocked 1 achievement in 5 hours! How long did you take you to get all 1000? My own list: 1000/1000 Assassin's Creed Just Cause Call of Duty 2 Bullet Witch Madden 2006 King Kong Superman Returns Eragon Enchanted Arms 200/200 Rez HD Pacman CE
  20. I am interested, but $8 to ship a magazine? I shipped Volume 2 to my friend for priority for less than $5.
  21. No Transformer (Megatron/Optimus Prime/Starscream) plates??
  22. They are all complete in good condition. Shipping is $2 per game, $1 for each additional (within continental USA) 360 Just Cause Stranglehold Saints Row NHL 08 $15 Madden pack - 06, 07 (Hall of fame) and 08 all for $9 DS - Magical Starsign
  23. You should get MLB The Show for PS2 (either 07 or 08). It is one of the best baseball games out there and I play it every night (I have the PS3 version, which is nicer looking, etc).
