$15k for the GC's, say $30/each for the games (250+games) is about $22k. That doesn't inlcude all the flat screen detachable monitors (which I've never looked into, but assume go for $100?)..I'd say you could make close to $25k on that lot. You're factoring in $10k for yourself for labor and shipping costs? The shipping will be paid by the new buyers, so rule that out. Packaging may cost some sweet money, but not possibly that much. I don't pay myself for labor either..but I wouldn't imagine it would be $10k in labor. I still think you'd be making some decent money off this deal. If you look at his other items for sell, he's selling quite a bit of stuff in bulk..wonder what's going on

$150 per GC X 100+ GC's is at least $15k. I think you could easily make your money back if you used the BIN if you sell the games and all of the accessories..

I would wait and see if the guy gets back to you. Having just moved myself, we waited to send several auctions until after we moved as we accidentally packed the stuff and had to wait until we unpacked and found them. Chances are he just got really busy with packing (hopefully). Good Luck!

I guess it really is a good deal. The GC systems by themselves would run you about $15k...and you're getting all those games, accessories and screens to go along with it. Guess the store is not going to be selling GC's anymore.

That last thread you posted is the one I was referring to in my post. It was taken (by you) to mean I was picking you out, which in fact it was geared towards a # of people. In fact, that link was taken off an XBox forum in which alot of people that support the XBox took it lightheartedly and some even laughed. I don't think that there's anything wrong with supporting the XBox. Like I said earlier in this post, my plans are to get one myself. My point is that when you egg on people the way you have in this thread, you can't turn around and wonder why people don't take you seriously or join you in your XBox conversations. In fact after the huge spectacle that was made out of that last thread you've posted here, I've stayed far away from these topics so as not to create any commotion. My only comments here were to try to get everyone to calm down and realize that we should all just repsect each other's opinions on game consoles (something I learned from YOU after the last time). Just seems a little hypocritical to do what I was condemned for doing And sorry if it got under my skin that I was said to have "as usual taken everything out of context to be what I want it to be" even though apparently it was a joke. Conkers will be a big hit because it's a classic that everybody likes. The graphics and gameplay definitely look like they'll be much better on this new version. I think a general concern of most XBox users that I've talked to about it is that Rare might be rushing too much to put this game on the shelves. No less, it will be an instant hit and probably one I'll buy.

I guess the expansions packs are getting a little old. I still buy them and enjoy them, but my attention span is much shorter than it used to be with the Sims. I'll get sucked in again with Sims 2 though I'm sure.

Ok, I lied..I'm back. This thread was started by someone who was saying how impressed THEY were with what Nintendo was doing at E3. Yet somehow it was hijacked into a "Why does everyone hate the XBox, it's my favorite toy in the world" thread. It's really funny that you should should say what you just did What I don't understand is that nobody here has denied that the XBox is a good system. It has some good games out for it, and yes, it can do more than the GC or PS2. But, not everyone wants one. In fact, Starscream had me talked into getting one, but if it's going to make me go crazy like some of you have in this thread, then forget it. Point is (again) Not everyone will like the console or the games that you like. We should be able to have a decent conversation about all of the consoles and their pros/cons without laughing at one other and belittling each other. Why is this thread even still open? If people are getting pissy to where they're making direct attacks and personal insults, it should be closed.

I don't necessarily think it's immature. Personally, I don't like MS as a company. It's kind of like Ford, I've never been impressed with Ford no matter what they put out. I think they have crappy products, so I don't buy them. Every year when they come out with a new model Ford, I don't give them a second glance because I simply do not like the company. I also don't like KMart. I despise Kmart. If they come out with something that I can't get anywhere else, I just won't get it. Maybe, just maybe people have different opinions on games and they're really telling the truth when they say they don't like the game selection. Who said the XBox is bad? Nobody that I can tell. Is there a 2 planned? I haven't heard anything. Maxis has gotten so much money on this damn game and all the expansion packs from me..I've bought every single one twice (for Mac & Pc). Has anyone played SimCity4? That game frustrates me too...much more difficult than SimCity3000.

Doesn't matter whether it's a proto or not. What's in question here is the act of selling something to a private seller that you have up for auction and people here do it all of time.

Funny thing is..there's quite a few people here on AA who email sellers all of the time offering them money on the side to just cancel the auction and sell the item to them and no one sees anything wrong with it..of course most of them aren't saying anything on this topic

Good Lord. We have all the systems in our house, and the XBox never gets played. We'll be buying our own soon so that it can be modded, but we'll probably just mostly play the old games on it so we don't have to lug out all of the systems. Why can't some of you just understand that what's important to you as a gamer may not be important to others? I could care less about gaming online, I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to game online. That's what we have a PC & a Mac for. I don't like 90% of the games out for the XBox or the PS2, in fact I see the XBox gaming taking the direction of the PS2, a bunch of shit titles just to make the library bigger. Some people think the XBox is the greatest thing on earth. These comparisons to football teams, etc is just fueling the fire. It doesn't really matter who likes what, we're all here because we like to game. Let's try being a little mature for a change and respecting each others opinions enough not to belittle what each other likes.
