Our GameStop had tons more NES/Sega Genesis games today than I've ever seen them have. They didn't seem to be any cheaper though..still way overpriced.

I don't think he should just automatically cancel their bids. Some people state in their auctions that (0) feedback bidders may be subject to bid cancellation or should email the seller before bidding. It doesn't sound like he did that in his auction. While these bidders may very well not be paying bidders, you shouldn't just cancel their bids because they haven't bought anything on eBay before. Maybe they signed up for eBay because they were looking for a good deal on a digital camera. Retro-how much is this digital camera worth? Is the high bid of $200 reasonable or not? If not, then yeah, their probably just punks trying to drive up the price so you have to relist the item when they don't pay. If it's reasonable, I'd say let them win the auction if they do, and give them time to pay. If they don't pay..it's your loss, re-list the auction and state the next time around that bidders with (0) feedback will not have their bids accepted. I've had (0) feedback bidders win my auctions, and I've never had one not pay. I know this is not always the case, but I'd be a little frustrated if someone cancelled my bid simply because I hadn't bought anything on eBay before. Just my 2 cents.

Depends on where he's shipping from. A good portion of the country has had bad winter weather over the past 2 weeks. That could definitely delay shipping.
