  1. somePunk posted a link to this website...and "Seven reasons why the XBox can suck it" pretty much sums up my opinions as well. http://maddox.xmission.com/xbox_suckit.html
  2. There's been alot of comments made lately about "those of us who don't like XBox or M$" Let me explain a few things to you. 1- Most of us that don't want an XBox don't want one for valid reasons. It's not that we "hate M$" as most of us don't. Personally, I think M$ is a ripoff, but that's not to say that I don't use their products everyday. Yes, that's right..I HAVE A PC TOO! Oh, and I use M$ on my Mac. So please don't make you smart comments about ME. The reason we don't buy an XBox is because the few games that are good on it are just not enough to satisfy us. 2- You can talk until your blue in the face about how much YOU love your XBox and how it has everything that I've never mentioned I'm looking for, but ya know what? I still don't want one! 3- You can come up with every reason in the world why YOU don't like the systems I have and what the XBox has that my systems don't, but ya know what? I still don't want one! Just because the XBox is the new "hip" thing to have, doesn't mean that those of us that don't want one must hate M$. We simply aren't as easily satisfied as you. Some of you are going to have an awful lot of time on your hands once you stop pimpin' your XBox.
  3. So, your proposal is that they not only lose money selling the systems, but to discount the games they sell which is where they actually make money? It doesn't seem to me like they would make more profits that way.

    Wow!

While that is extremely interesting Nukey, you have entirely too much time on your hands.
  5. I'm not going because Albert will be there.
  6. don't waste your time Scot. Foxy and Starscream sleep with their XBox in between them at night.
  7. Ok, so my little trick of creating single men, marrying them, taking all their money, and killing them has backfired. I get stuck with all their pets when they die. I have the 2 horniest dogs in the neighborhood. All they do is eat, sleep, and have sex...all day...every day. There is one plus to this...they're breeding and you can sell the puppies for $1180 a piece. But really, must they do their "thing" in the front yard for everyone to see??
  8. Thanks for the offer CPU, but I doubt our PC will meet the requirements to run it, so I'll probably end up getting the Mac version. I just wanted to make sure it would be worth buying!
  9. I really enjoyed playing Mario Tennis on the GBC. It's supposed to be coming out for the GC later this year.
  10. It looks like that thread is mostly about Wolfenstein 3d.
  11. Has anyone here played this? People were buying this game from my work like crazy when it first came out, so I was thinking of buying it. Is it any good?
  12. Oh, and the reason I have two of each of the expansion packs for the Sims is that I bought them all for the PC as each came out. We have a pretty outdated PC, but the Sims, Livin Large, and House Party all ran fine. Once I got Vacation & Hot Date, they ran like shit and it wasn't worth it to play it because of the amount of time it took to scroll over to something. Then we got a new Mac which is way faster than our PC could think of being..so, I bought everything again for the Mac so that I could run them. It's alot better. I gave all my PC expansion packs to my brother, but I don't think he plays them, so I'll try to get them back from him and maybe one of you guys can have them. I have all the PC expansions except for Unleashed.
  13. Hey, that's a good idea Nukey. I thought we were doomed when we couldn't copy the cd. And I only have 2 of everything because I'm a dumbass.
  14. Of course it's wrong..but if anyone asks, just blame it on Nukey Shay.
  15. We spent $10 more than the XBox version of it to get the DC version. Keep in mind that this was many months before the XBox version was even being speculated. You can now get them for less than $50, so in no way was it a waste of money to get the DC version. We had completed the game before M$ even knew what Shenmue was. As a side note: I like Shenmue I better than the second.
  16. I'm guessing the same thing. I think they're thinking they will get it now, before it's actually released to the public. Either way, the seller is getting an awesome deal out of this. Somehow, I don't think this sale will end up being completed.
  17. I've scored a great deal on an Intellivision (Thanks Tiggerthehun). I still have a Jaguar up for trade for a Colecovision if anyone is interested. Please PM me.
  18. I don't know about you guys, but I'm sensing a pattern here.
  19. I get bored with it too. I'll play it non stop for a month and then take several months off...usually by the time the next expansion pack comes out I'm ready to play again. And Nukey--how dare you condone those sorts of acts?
  20. I've done the gnome thing too.... I usually don't allow my Sim to get all the way up in their job. I stop them at the 2nd to the top so they won't lose their job. Otherwise, after 3 days you gotta start all over. Of course, if you're all the way up at your job, you probably have tons of skills, so the extra money you bring in for promotions is pretty sweet.
  21. Liquid_Sky---This is how I make my sim rich: create a bunch of single people and move them each into a house. They should be worth about $18k at this point. Have your sim woo them until they fall in love and then ask them to marry you. Because they're single, they'll bring in their entire household networth, so you've just gained $18k. Then kill them, and repeat with another single.
