My not buying an Xbox is not JUST because it's made my M$. Mac users use M$ too ya know, I use it everyday. And Apple would hopefully never try to make anything other than computers. They're not trying to take over complete marketshare of the world. It's kinda like a well known secret between a few friends I simply don't think the game selection is that great for the XBox, but my kind of games differ from most of yours. I've only seen 2 games I'd like to play and to me, it's not worth buying an XBox for. Eventually, I will buy one, but right now I still have tons of games to finish for the PS2 and GC.

Do you have a link for those statistics? I'm not doubting you..I haven't checked on them in a while..just curious to look at all the info.

My reason for not wanting an XBox is mostly because *I* am interested in VERY few of the games they have out for it. I'm not interested in playing Halo, I understand it's a great game, just not my kind of game. Crazy Taxi 3 almost interests me, but after playing the first 2, it wouldn't keep me entertained very long. I do want to play Project Gotham Racing and possibly Shenmue 3...those are the only 2 titles that remotely interest me, although I could live without both. I bought a PS2 just for GTA 3..I won't be buying another system just for one or two games I want to play ever again.

No, it's not a bad deal at all...but in the next year or two it'll be the next DC and cheap as hell.

Shenmue is an awesome game. I've only played 1 & 2 on the DC. I was much more into Shenmue 1 than the second one. Is the XBox version the same as the DC version? Unfortunately, I won't be buying or playing Shenmue3 as there's no XBox in my future.

Has anyone else become totally bored with AC? My house is as big as it can get... I try to play every couple of days, but even then it only to get some cash to pay off the rest of my house.

It's surprising how many people still have their Atari stuff after all of these years. So far, I've only found one person at my work that was into Atari..he's agreed to give me everything he can find once he goes thru his attic.

I haven't bought anything from the store thus yet...but I hear it's a great way to contribute to the Al's for AA. I've donated several times thru PayPal, although it's probably hard to tell So are we getting a new upgraded store?? What's the secret...c'mon!!!

The PS3 isn't due out for a few more years as far as I know. It depends on how much money you want to spend. If you're looking for less, I'd say the PS2 because they have games out that you get for cheaper as the system and games have been out longer than the X box. More titles are also out for the PS2 for the same reason.

So you'd buy a pink one since you don't care about the color? I realize the color isn't important to everyone...in fact it's not that big of a deal to me. I like the Platinum one and just because I want to get it for that reason doesn't mean I'm stupid. That's why nobody likes you.

Comparing PS2, GC, and Xbox: 1-PS2 2-GC 3-X Box Some of us have small hands and can barely get them around the Xbox controller. The PS2 controller is perfect for me.

Oh, but it's a limited edition..so surely that'll be worth tons more down the line right?

BTW, the load time of Vice City SUCKS! I have to start up the game and watch some tv while I'm waiting for the damn game to load.

I'll tell you why. Not always do I have time nor do I want to sit and complete missions. Sometimes, I just want to play for 10-15 minutes and I just want to blow everyone up and shoot their heads off. Now, you can do what you want, but I'm not going to spend 10 of those 15 minutes searching for weapons only to have a minute or two to actually play. I'll use the weapons cheat and I'm ready to kill.
