    My not buying an Xbox is not JUST because it's made my M$. Mac users use M$ too ya know, I use it everyday.

     

    And Apple would hopefully never try to make anything other than computers. They're not trying to take over complete marketshare of the world. It's kinda like a well known secret between a few friends :)

     

    I simply don't think the game selection is that great for the XBox, but my kind of games differ from most of yours. I've only seen 2 games I'd like to play and to me, it's not worth buying an XBox for. Eventually, I will buy one, but right now I still have tons of games to finish for the PS2 and GC.

    My reason for not wanting an XBox is mostly because *I* am interested in VERY few of the games they have out for it. I'm not interested in playing Halo, I understand it's a great game, just not my kind of game.

     

    Crazy Taxi 3 almost interests me, but after playing the first 2, it wouldn't keep me entertained very long.

     

    I do want to play Project Gotham Racing and possibly Shenmue 3...those are the only 2 titles that remotely interest me, although I could live without both.

     

    I bought a PS2 just for GTA 3..I won't be buying another system just for one or two games I want to play ever again.

    I haven't bought anything from the store thus yet...but I hear it's a great way to contribute to the Al's for AA. I've donated several times thru PayPal, although it's probably hard to tell :)

    The PS3 isn't due out for a few more years as far as I know. It depends on how much money you want to spend. If you're looking for less, I'd say the PS2 because they have games out that you get for cheaper as the system and games have been out longer than the X box. More titles are also out for the PS2 for the same reason.

    I realize the color isn't important to everyone...in fact it's not that big of a deal to me. I like the Platinum one and just because I want to get it for that reason doesn't mean I'm stupid.

    I'll tell you why. Not always do I have time nor do I want to sit and complete missions. Sometimes, I just want to play for 10-15 minutes and I just want to blow everyone up and shoot their heads off. Now, you can do what you want, but I'm not going to spend 10 of those 15 minutes searching for weapons only to have a minute or two to actually play. I'll use the weapons cheat and I'm ready to kill.

    Hmmm... this is a "contest," but you're asking for the equivilent of an "entry fee," aren't you? OK, you've set a precident:

     

    FROM THIS POINT ON: All future Sniderman Giveaways will now have a $3 entry fee for each participant to cover the cart, shipping, and my time. If  your entry is incorrect, I will keep the money anyway.  

     

    See? THAT'S why people are giving you Hell in this thread. Your "contest" is just a thinly-veiled trade thread....and only one person gets a prize, everyone else is just sending you free carts. (And the prize isn't really Atari-related either...)

     

    You need to put the kibosh on this quickly before folks start getting even more upset.

     

    heh. Exactly what I was thinking. Sleep, I'm sure yer an honest guy and hopefully this "contest" you're having is totally innocent, but I don't think many people will be sending you their games at a chance to win a dough boy.
