Very nice! I like the way you do the graphics. Especially the trees and moving water look cool. Well done!

Tomy Tutor/Pyuuta Collectors?
retroclouds replied to hardcorehubz's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
Best chance is to check in the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A subforum. There are some folks with Tomy Tutor stuff there. -
Merry Christmas wishes :) + 1982's Christmas Newsletter :)
retroclouds replied to ti99iuc's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
Yes, Merry Christmas to you too! I also wish all TI friends here on Atariage a Merry Christmas with much joy and lots of new TI stuff under the tree. -
Yeah, I'm aware there are already programs out there for testing a SAMS board. But I wanna try something myself, should be fun and will help me getting back to speed in TMS9900 assembly language.
-
That should be doable.
-
If you were to write a test program for the SAMS board, what would you like to see? 1. Automatically detect SAMS memory size? 2. Fill all banks with random patterns and verify 3. Cycle through all banks, speed test, burn-in test 4. Memory viewer (have that already, would need to enhance for SAMS) 5. ?? Ideas anyone? Thinking about a cartridge ROM for testing SAMS and currently collecting requirements :-)

ok, I have 2 PEB's where I want to change the fans. Incredibly how loud these things are. What was TI thinking? Might have been ok for the server room, but surely not to have one on your desk. Both PEB's are in the toggle version, not the push button version (does that matter?) How much time does this take? Anything else that would make sense doing while the PEB is dismantled?

TI-99/4A with a Pipistrello FPGA board
retroclouds replied to speccery's topic in TI-99/4A Development
Would you be able to trigger the load interrupt via software on the board, thinking about a timer that programmatically could trigger the load interrupt. We had a discussion about that in one of the forum threads. Thinking about a task scheduler. -
Thread update done: * Peekbot WHTech navigation removed, dead link * Fixed broken HOF links * Fixed broken "airernie's book archive" link, so that it now points to acadiel. * Fixed Magellan download link so that it point to the newest version. We should really move Magellan to Github... * Fixed broken Convert9918 link * Fixed broken Cf2k link Assembly language section updated. Added: * Mathews's thread on Assembly language programming as requested here * Added reference to Freds' Editor/Assembler IV module
-
ok, noted. Will be updated in the next few days. Collecting some more broken stuff first.
-
Thread update: * Added missing RXB2015E link and included reference to RXB tutorial videos.
-
Thread updated: 1. Split sections into Software and Manuals/Tutorials. Example: Renamed "Assembly Language" to "Assembly Language - Software" and added "Assembly Language - Manuals" 2. Some hyperlinks fixed and added JS99er * Member name adjusted * Hyperlink to Github source code repository added asm990 * Hyperlink was broken. Fixed that, new hyperlink added. RXB Removed link to RXB2012 on retroclouds site. Waiting for link where latest version of RXB can be found. It probably is in some thread, but which one? Would make sense to move this to GitHub ? fbForth Removed fbFort manual link to retroclouds page. Get latest version of fbForth in the thread instead. 3. Removed link to dropbox archive. The archive is no longer there, so.....

This is a placeholder for the Development Resources sticky thread. In this thread I try the BBcode changes before I update the sticky thread. I'll also attach the BBcode of the latest update here. backup_bbcode-2015-06-10.txt backup_bbcode-2016-12-04.txt backup_bbcode-2016-12-05.txt backup_bbcode-2016-12-11.txt backup_bbcode-2017-04-17.txt backup_bbcode-2017-12-30.txt

Hi Rich, sorry about that. I've been neglecting the Development Resources thread for quite some time. Actually I requested a few folks if they want to take over this thread, but no interest so far. So I guess, it's sticking to me. That being said, If I do keep doing this thread the plan for the future is to update it 2x to 3x a year and to simplify it. Believe it or not, but there's quite an amount of BBcode behind, and that makes updating quite a task. Would appreciate if people ping me with the details on what they want to have added, as I don't have the overview of all new things that happened lately. I'll update the thread this weekend. Regarding RXB, can you point me to the relevant posts, so I can include it. Thanks. Cheers Filip

You guys keep hem coming! Congratulations, the promo video looks really impressive and I want a cartridge badly, so ordering this weekend. So many good things happen right here on Atariage. It was the right decision requesting Albert to setup a Ti-99/4A subforum for us many moons ago.

Congratulations, the promo video looks impressive, and I sure am getting a cartridge! Well done!

Cards and other expansions I made for TI-99
retroclouds replied to fabrice montupet's topic in TI-99/4A Development
I like the Colorsprite+ idea a lot, I would love to get on of these if this is realized as a PCB card for the TI-99/4a. So if I understand you correctly, this project would have been possible back in the old days when the TI-99/4a still ruled the world? Meaning biggest part of the components was available in the 80's ? Cool! -
33rd European TI Treffen 2018 in Neuss/Germany
retroclouds replied to Schmitzi's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
Nice. At least it is not as crowded as the one time I went to the Retroboerse in Mannheim. That kinda ruined it for me, it was so packed you barely had a chance to look at things. -
XB256 and the Harry Complier, Plea for Help
retroclouds replied to Airshack's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
senior_falcon, who made the compiler is on this forum. If he does not respond try pinging him or re-post in the development subforum. Could be a compiler issue. -
Just had a try playing Snake Plissken. This is fun! Didn't make it through level 3. Hi-score 9600 points Thanks for making a great game!

We don't mind you are new :-) New people bring new ideas, I'm sure there are enough folks around here willing to help you get started. Good luck!

TI-99/4A with a Pipistrello FPGA board
retroclouds replied to speccery's topic in TI-99/4A Development
This is something I asked on the 32k ram project in one of the other forum threads as well, and perhaps even easier doing with the fpga: Add the possibility to trigger load interrupts via a timer. Would be great for implementing a preemptive task scheduler on the TI-99/4a.
