I bought a square plastic basin, inverted it, drilled holes through which I run Velcro straps to hold the two padded in place. Works great!

I like Marble Craze .. I have the two paddles mounted 90 degrees to each other to play the marble tilt game.

This is a great idea! And much better than my single paddle where I cut off the other controller at the plug!

With a little contact cleaner and some tuning of the RF box, I now have stable color and full paddle functionality x4.

I need to do this to my Astrocade .. Thanks for posting this .. Also some time ago I made an adapter which allows me to use my Astrocade controller with Atari systems. Just the joystick functions ..

That game is called Catch. I remember being disappointed in 1977 when that game was missing on the Pong Sports, Video Olympics cart. This Pong is messed up! I wonder what the problem could be? I will have to look at a circuit diagram.

Miss Ball for High Score ? Last night my girlfriend and I pulled out my Sears Tele-Games Super Pong IV ... Every time either of us missed the ball, our score would increment! I'm like, "That's not right!" She said, "That's how I remember it. Low score wins." So we pulled out several Pong clones which of course increment scoring correctly. Anyone else have a similar problem?? BTW She plays a mean game of Pong!

Tonight I pulled out two APF TV Fun units to test. The more primitive of the two has the built in paddles which work. (401A) The more advanced one (402E) would not display color. Only the remote paddles worked. We could not get the two console paddles to respond. My guess is dirty pots which keep the paddles off the screen, I will clean them and see if I can get all four paddles up and working ..

WTB: Atari 2600 initial 1977 release carts. Back in the day I had these .. And later when collecting them I had these .. So I moved and downsized. Now I would like to share the joy again with my girlfriend. I have Air Sea Battle. Anyone have spares? Thanks Rob Mitchell

As you know, the original 1976 Exidy Death Race uses two steering wheels to drive down the gremlins. Is there an option to use the Atari Driving Controller for these homebrews?

I heard the news on the BBC which interviewed the editor of Retrogamer Magazine. Sad news. I enjoyed reading my signed copy of his book.

Recently I've been playing my own complete working Dark Tower game with friends. There's an app for iPad iPhone which emulates the tower and peg cards. All one needs is a photocopy of the game board and some game pieces and the game can be played.

Back in the day a guy gave me a copy of a cassette program which would make a perfect duplicate of whatever program was on a cassette. What I would do is load the copying program on my 410, the Atari would beep, then I would put in my original cassette program send hit play. The Atari would read the program and then beep. I would then put in a new cassette and hit record and touch a button on the computer and it would record a perfect duplicate on the 410. Of course I had copies of all my programs in my basement long after I sold my Atari 800 in the early mid eighties and all that got thrown away years later. Does anyone have a copy of this cassette duplicating program? Rob

For most of the two player games, the left player sound effects come out of the left channel and the right player sound comes out of the right channel. In Combat the left tank sounds including missile fire comes out of the left .. So connect this to some big stereo with speakers and it is pretty cool! Of course put a switch to convert back to mono for other games ..

The plastic lever from the TRS-80 is the same .. But the pot is different .. Let me see what I have in my Vectrex parts bin.

This controller works for all Death From Above games .. As well as all LR(H)TF games .. (Left Right Hyperspace Thrust Fire). With a special digital to analog circuit, I use mine with the Vectrex (Minestorm) and with the 5200. Also I have an atari port on my iCade so I use it with my iPad!
