it all come down to whether you like having a games collection, a book collection, a record collection. One that you can actually touch. I like being able to look through peoples book collections for example, reading a bunch of file names is not the same. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/technology/adrianhon/100006693/why-physical-media-still-matters/ Interesting article ^^^^^^^^ As for the music industry, Vinyl is becoming more popular. Even big artists like Adele have begun putting their music on vinyl. Anyway, here's some Adele for people who haven't heard her... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ti3t7MAwaaM

How important is the Turbo Booster to the TG-16?..
so_tough! replied to ataridave's topic in Classic Console Discussion
You got a GOOD deal. I got two mint TG 16's for 20 pounds each , I thought that was a great deal. Thanks, yea that was a bit of a brag. It also came with hookups, two gamepads and the turbo joystick one (I forget what its called) at a Value Village a couple of years back. great deal -
Speaking of what console to buy next...

Another nice thing about the Japanese library is the most expensive US games can generally be had much much much cheaper then their US counterparts so provided its not a game where reading is essential(which is pretty much every game thats not an RPG) then you are good to go. Also alternatively rather then getting a converter you could get a modded system. There are a number of people over on PCengineFX that offer the service. When I bought my Duo-R I got it modded to play US Hucards by the member of the forum I bought it from, works great! Oh and if you like shooters look no further, the TG16/PCE is what you want. How are you enjoying the duo? Spot on about shooters, Pc engine and Megadrive both have lots of great shootemups. -

There's no problem with censorship (what a very untrendy view!), I would guess most people actually believe in some forms of censorship. but many wont admit it (it's not the hip thing to believe in! You want that hate site directed at your daughter taken down? Ok then you don't believe in 100 percent free speech!!!!). Maybe if there were some internet laws, there would be a lot less nasty shit online. I know you're probably talking about copyright etc though...right?

It's a weird thing to say. I don't get that attitude at all. If a consumer buys something, why cant they sell it on? It's all about money it seems.

The only reason I found the article is because it mentions the 7800. well thank you for putting the link up The guardian is wacko though, in my opinion!

Interesting article. Killick represents a new generation that resists the notion that the games industry is a boys' own club. "I see a lot of it as unacceptable," she says. "All the over-sexualised female characters, hiring women to 'decorate' stands at games events. I don't think this stuff has a place in the future of the industry. As interesting as Deus Ex, Uncharted and Gears of War 3 are, they still feature men in the central, playable roles; the anatomically impossible fantasy creature Lara Croft remains the high watermark for female lead characters – and that has to change. Perhaps when the percentage of women in development increases, it will. What about the male characters in gears of war who look like they have been taking steroids and spending 5 hours a day in the gym? Isn't it the same thing? I can't stand the guardian by the way, but thanks for posting the article

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/jun/15/rusko-cockney-thug-wub-wobble The bassline became known as the "wub", and along with its rascally brother, the "wobble", it became one of the most familiar hallmarks of the nu-dubstep See that track you posted doesn't have all that wubwub wobbley crap either. I lookecd up hardstyle or crapstyle as I like to call it. <Thank the lord for these girls. I need cleansed after all that crap. -

Opened my first vintage sealed game today
so_tough! replied to boxpressed's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Most of my Jaguar games were sealed, opened them all up. All my turbografx games were sealed, opened them all up. Bought a sealed version of Salamander for Pc Engine, opened it up! All my Neo Geo aes games were also "new old stock", they had the Neo seal on the side and were all opened up. A few Neo cd games were also sealed, you can guess what I did! There was a lot of Neo Geo, Turbografx and Jaguar "new old stock" floating around on ebay a few years ago. All super cheap. If you really want to reseal them, you can do it yourself. My opinion on sealed Games? Some people have a weird fetish for them that I don't get. Games are a mass produced item, by their nature they are common. Why fetishize a mass produced item? Now, buying a game or console which has never been opened is quite nice, but if you're paying ridiculous prices it's daft. Buying a console or game that you don't intend to play? Madness. Are they just going to sit on a shelf forever? One day they will be opened or damaged. Might be a while, but it will happen. -

I'm not saying 99% of lawyers are that way, just that the few that are make 99% of todays woes Pretty sweeping statement there mate Is that a fact about Monsato or hear say?
-
I understand. Hmm, anyway I've had enough of sticking up for lawyers today. Tiring.
-
You wanted his services. You want him to do it for free? Lawyers deserve the money they make . I know how hard they work. Some of you guys hate lawyers so much, then don't deal with them. Question, did the lawyer ask you was settling for $300 ok?
-
Apart from the lawyer yelling at you, what else did he do wrong?
