  1. I just got Raiden last week, there should be some mint Jag games including Raiden for sale on ebay Power drive rally and Super Burnout i would get them too! They hit my doorstep this week also. There is a 5 package Game deal (i bought it for tempest 2000) on ebay, from poland! all mint in cellophane! Only 25 pounds..
  2. Yeh i read a few reviews, it looks good
  3. I'm watching a few on ebay, one with rygar (not boxed etc) and the other is boxed, instructions etc-but no game-the rygar one is very tempting, its a buy now item. And i can always buy a boxed version later.
  4. Hey Davy I get most of my games from ebay or online..there are a few 7800's for sale on ebay at the minute, thinking of purchasing one-i have no idea why Atari didn't release the pads in America as well? Telegames is far too expensive, but i did get a Jag pad there and bought some Atari magazines from them today.
  5. My raiden also has a separate Japanese manual!
  6. Does anyone have a full list of all coin ups made my Atari? or a link to one?
  7. These guys are passionate about gaming and that transfers into the bedroom as well. HAHA<these articles are always so stupid, hell come on dissect my life! I never know whether they are meant to be taken seriously or not.So we are all passionate about gaming here, that means we are all passionate guys in the bedroom? what a complete load of shit
  8. is it because you want to raise some more money or only a lack of space problem?
  9. I agree, i don't think you should sell-in the future i think you will regret it.And it will be hard, if not near impossible to build the collection up again.
  10. I like 2d games best, after 16 bit games didn't really do it for me anymore. When the playstation was out, my brother convinced me to sell my Jag and put the money towards one .I did, soon after i discovered old games and bought myself my first Atari 2600 and never looked back since.I don't pay any attention to new games at all.Although i did promise my older bro that i would help him with a Nintendo wii (bonus is, all those old games to download!!!). Also the 16 bit era is from my childhood, as well as the fact i love playing the games there is also the memories etc of that time.Really good memories.I can't ever imagine having the hots for new games.
  11. Yeh see thats the problem, well I'm not planning on my wild free spirit trip just yet..but all my equipment is pal-so it wont even work in usa or canada!
  12. There are some great supergun systems available from companies in America and also japan, also some in the uk. I never really wanted a huge cabinet collection, one or two would suit me fine.So a supergun for me is the best option. www.videogameimports.com <go to arcade/pcb section and look at the great one from Japan!!!!
  13. i love to play the original system (i have my consoles hooked up to an early nineties tv, great picture, good size). I collect some records also, so its like comparing vinyl to mp3-no comparison.I like taking the record out of the sleeve and putting it on the record player, same way as i like to take the cart out and slot it into the system.
  14. I sent you a link, but i decided to take the tracks down, because they are all in the works(it would not be an accurate description of where the music is going), I'm trying to mix more experimental electronics with more song orientated material..its coming along just fine.
  15. Thank you! Karri but, i am even more confused now..how would i go about making sounds for a game? So i use music software and a synth to make my own music-but do i need specialized software to program or-i know i know NOTHING
  16. can you post pictures, if possible?
  17. I found ultra vortek mint for 10 pounds (around 20 dollars)
  18. is fight for life worth 30 pounds=60 dollars.Seemed like a pretty good deal, i have seen it at really high prices.I remember being excited when this game was announced, early screen shots etc.Should add, mint copy with cellophane.
  19. Maybe for future more people should get involved with the same project? I know back in the early days of video games less people were needed but as consoles got more powerful they needed more people to work on a project.I'm sure people pulling all their powers together, could make a really great game-even if it took a while.A year, two etc.
  20. Are you kids telling me no one here has a super gun system? Well I'll be damned! you crazy kids only into arcade cabinets? the great thing with super gun is that its small, so it doesn't take up much space. Its compatible with all jamma boards and you can just plug in a neo geo port/adaptor to play neo geo games aswell.
  21. First of all congratulations to all who made this game, second of all.. The Jag was marketed as a 64 bit system (i don't believe its 64 bit for a second, but thats another discussion..)-if this came out on the Jag when it was "alive!" would you be impressed? surely this game is more suited to 2600? Just less good graphics, but same game play.I would be a little disappointed of most Jaguar home brews are not going to use the power of the system. Or at least not look like a quality 16 bit game. Any thoughts? Why release it on Jag when its more suited to a less powerful system? If you don't have the skills to make a Jag game, then i think make a game for another less powerful system or it just seems like a waste.Sorry, if this is a little like a downer.I don't mean it personally. *Same goes for it being released on neo geo cd, snes and Genesis-i would have kept this game for the early eighties systems*
  22. Maybe i was a little too harsh, i just don't think its so hot I have actually got quite far in it, i know it does become more fun as you go on.As far as a game goes, i just don't think it looks finished and it could probably have been so much more.I haven't played it in a long time, maybe i will have another go (i know the cart is around here, someplace!!!).
