very interesting haven't had the time to read it all yet, just skipped around.I haven't played new games in years, my brother bought a game cube when it came out-but it just didn't hit the spot for me at all.I have always enjoyed older games much better, i like the whole deal better-the graphics, sound etc. I don't think i will ever buy a new game system, i much prefer pick up and play arcade style games. Often pioneers of things, seem to think what came after them was trash.A lot of the time, they have good points.

I make music(experimental/abstract electronics), I'm quite interested in how music/sound works programming wise.For instance, can i make a track or sound effects and then just submit it to the programmer and they do the rest of the work? I'm aware different machines have different sound chips etc.But aside from that, i know *very very little*. So how would i go about making music or sound effects for a game, do i need to be able to program? or i can i just share the files with the programmer and he/she can do the rest? I'm sorry if this sounds awfully stupid.

The only game i had for a long time (thats why it lived in my cupboard!!) was cybermorph, i think its an AWFUL game.And Club drive, it looks awful too-Pete you got weird taste! I think those two mentioned games are an embarrassment to the Atari name. They don't age well either, graphically.None of those early 3d polygon games do.I think cybermorph looks totally unfinished and playability isn't very good at all (just my opinion).

Atari briefly attempted to market the 2600 in Japan, under the name Atari 2800. It looks just like the Sears Video Arcade II, except it has the 2800 name on it. Functionally it is the same. Very few of these were made. So Atari was never successful in Japan, why do you think this was?

Raiden, attack of the mutant penguins and power drive rally all came today.So far my fav is power drive rally, haven't got to play attack of the mutant penguins much-but it seems really fun! Raiden is good, too.More updates, later!

£ 200 (thats $400) for an atari 7800 and game!!! an nec pc engine for £300 pounds!!!!!!! around $600 dollars!!! they have been going for years and i have no idea how they managed to stay a float!

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO TELEGAMES.CO.UK? the prices have been CRAZY for years..on ALL systems.A TOTAL rip off,All stuff is boxed and mint i think-so i suppose thats something. But still, check the site-and have a look around.Anyone who would pay these prices must be mad. I think they are closing shop, thats how it seems anyway.No wonder.

Today i bought tempest 2000, wolfenstein, iron soldier, dragon-bruce lee and bubsy all mint (with cellophane) for 25 pounds Tempest 2000 is what i am really looking forward too, out of this bunch!

Super burnout came today I really like this i love arcade style games, so this is totally what i'm into Power drive rally has just been shipped, and raiden and attack of the mutant penguins should be here tomorrow at the latest!! lets hope

Games did not arrive today but..did buy power drive rally (mint with cellophane) for 5 pounds (10 dollars). Super burnout, Raiden and Attack of the mutant penguins should be with me tomorrow! Hopefully.
