  1. I bought both monaco games for really cheap, but I don't like them at all.
  2. hmm that's weird. I have them both and they are meant to have sound (not too keen on monaco gp, have to admit! oh and sonic 2 was released in Europe on my birthday)
  3. It's too easy, you need more stuff going on. How about as your score increases, more red blocks appear? (the red block is not red)
  4. All the magazines raved about temptest and the soundtrack back in the day
  5. They dont really care about the facts, some young researcher probably did all the (bad) work and then handed them each a piece of paper.
  6. download this game please and give your feedback!
  7. Wed-Friday- Dragon Spirit, 15 minutes, PC Engine Image Fight, 15 minutes, PC Engine Super Burnout (again!), 30 minutes, Jaguar
  8. Iwan/ Josh, me and Mike are coming over to open all your sealed games up!
  9. same. Let me explain this, if I got a high score of 1900, that would be one thousand 9 hundred. Would Americans call that nineteen hundred?
  10. That's really interesting, I suppose because Japan had the console market covered in the 16 bit and 32 bit era we assume gaming is very big in Japan, but from the numbers you've presented that doesn't seem the case... (You've answered my question about the 360, what went wrong there?)
  11. He has a nice voice, he was in the band Japan. I like this song!
  12. did you buy these online? Telegames had lots for sale (they were operating under a dif name) on ebay a few years ago. I bought two
  13. are you suggesting they were telling porkies ? (I have no idea about the 68000 etc, technical things=over my head) Oh yeah anyone want an aes or neocd? PM me! good deal!!!
  14. As much as I like it the Neo Geo was far from a mainstream console I would still put it in there, remember the pc engine was only released in Japan, so it was only mainstream if you lived there Erm . . . . PC Engine was released as the TurboGrafx 16 in the US and got a limited release in Europe as the TurboGrafx, hence why its included as the PC Engine / TurboGrafx in this poll The Neo Geo sold in small numbers to home users and was never available in any shops that I know of. lol! The tg16 got a super limited run in Europe, I dont know anyone or any shop that ever had it in stock. Import stores probably had them though. Most people in Europe wouldnt have a clue what a turbo is either, apart from if they are into retro.... I would still put the neo in My friends cousin had one in the early 90's.
  15. How about downsizing the collection first? There really is no point owning games you dont or rarely play (ok I know the collectors wont listen! ) . My collection is very small compared to a lot of peoples here, but I'm looking to get rid of all the games and consoles I rarely play. I'm actually thinking of selling all my pc engine games apart from the shootemups, same with the megadrive games.

  17. I can't decide right now, I'll get back to you
  18. Atari should have released these games at launch (not!)! They would have been the killer titles that completely killed the Jaguar. lol!
  19. how popular is the xbox 360 in Japan? (sorry the sales number of 360 was LOW! and I dont pay a lot of attention to the newer consoles)
  20. That's interesting, a few years ago there was a lot of old "new" neo geo stock floating around on ebay, I myself purchased some games at the time. There was a haul found in the middle east, on every cover(of NAM1975) there was black marker over a womans boobies and thighs. Strange but true. Game is new, but was originally bound for Saudi Arabia, where the local Islamic rules would not allow the woman's flesh to be on display, so on the clear plastic of the box, the cartridge sticker and also on the manual (not the baggie), there is marker pen scribbled over the chest and leg area of the blonde with the gun. The seal on the box has been broken. This may well be removable, but we are selling as the game arrived to us. (from videogame imports, they have some copies, no pics though)
