I know what you mean, the problem is we're all grown up now and have pots of money compared to when we were kids (we relied on our parents), but we have less time to play and sometimes less inclination aswell. I don't see the point in massive collections where it's impossible to play every game you have. I think there are a lot of hoarders in the retro scene.

I don't own an intellivision, I haven't even played an intellivision, but I want to join so much. The brotherhood calls me.......... time to look on ebay for an intellivision, so I can hold my head high and be a proud member of the brotherhood.

i ment small compared to alot of others ive seen...my collection is no where near finishing and is mosly filled with commons (minus some rare carts) yea i only have bonk 1 and 2 but blazing lazers is on my list,.. never heard of dragon spirit but ill deffinitly check it out.....i will be getting a turbo duo within the next week so that should be interesting (and check for a duo) there are some huge collections here!

I'm actually going to be doing this in the new year myself - selling off more games that I never play and systems I hardly ever use such as PS1 and N64 Good idea, there's no point in having stuff you don't use. I enjoy your vids by the way

Who knows what will happen, but people said the paper book would kill off the hardback book, it didn't. Vhs would be the end of the cinema, it wasn't . The major problem I have whenever this argument occurs is that there are people who want it to happen. I call them techno geeks, they WANT the end of all media you can touch, that means they get to buy more overpriced and often worthless gadgets.

It really is evolution and mindset should be adapt or perish. No. Pro technlology people love this sorta stuff, that's the bottom line. Change isn't always good. Just because it's happening doesn't mean it's right. Except by definition, shouldn't most Video Gamers and Computer Gamers be PRO-Technology? Maybe, but I don't own anything beyond the 16 bit era, so not me. I take no interest in new consoles, so if games become download only I'm not that bothered to be honest, I just find the conversation interesting. I've had the same conversation with pro kindle people, pro mp3..it's mostly all the same conversation. It all comes down to whether you value a product you can actually touch.

If space is an issue you should look into getting a modded PC Engine rather then a TG16, they hold the record(official Guinness one in fact) for smallest game console. I don't own one but from the pictures they appear no wider then the controller, which is only about the width of a CD case. So storage wise you could easily tuck one away with all its stuff in a rather small box or even a drawer quite easily. I have the below games plus all my US HuCards. The sheer number that I got with the system kind of over whelmed me, I'm being totally ADD about playing them, usually playing them for only a short time(usually till my first game over) then swapping the cards or CDs out for another game. lol I need to focus sit down and work on just one. I suck at all the snk fighting games I have, well...I'm pretty good at Word Heroes, but adk made it! I enjoyed street fighter 2, but for some reason these snk titles are not half as good (my opinion), and they play so differently. Part of the reason I'm getting rid of my neo, I was really let down by the system (should have played more neo in the arcade before buying one). It's the most over rated system out there. Even the graphics don't look that great.A lot of the graphics arn't that smooth . Many megadrive/snes games have much prettier graphics than neo geo games. Back in the 16 bit days some magazines acted like neo geo was the pinnacle of 16 bit gaming. Totally off the mark. Even if it was the same price as other consoles it would never have beaten them in the market. The software on pc engine, megadrive and snes kicks it's ass. Anyway, anyone want an aes or cd? Pm me Oh yeah by the way, they are infuriating and I can stop playing them! That's why they are in my wardrobe all dusty!

Loving it! Most of the games are kicking my ass though as they are much tougher then a vast majority of games I've played. Several even only give you one shot at beating them, no extra lives and no continues! What games do you have?
