Yes, he should start on the driving mode, since it would stand out the most on its own as a complete game. Then work on other "modules" to the game if he has time/desire/patience
If it all got done, then it could be combined into a 16 or 32k bankswitching cart without too much trouble.

Wait till you see Irata's Quest. It's really coming along great. It's like my dream of a Zelda type adventure game for atari is becoming a reality. My wife even likes it!

Great ideas, Perhaps Eric, you could also elaborate on what tools and resources are availble to a beginner in 2600 programming. Such as which assembler to use, so basic "hello world" examples to go by etc...

Cafeman has a great Idea for a knight rider game. With the jumping and chasing and all. Just like on the show when the showed the side view of Kitt jumping things. Cool! But you gotta time it just right!

I KNOW! Why did they have to kill optimus in the movie! That made the show stink and they brought him back wierd and they made him normal again too late IMO.
Why do they always ruin stuff like what they are doing to Star Trek Now.

Hmm, that transformers game doesnt seem to have any "brand name" transformers in it, Where megatron, optimus or jazz at? I dont even see bumble bee!

Interesting that there is a post about this today. I was just thinking about this last night.
Moon Patrol 2600
It is a great conversion. Now with that neat 2600 Music tool, can someone hack it to make the colors better and the MUSIC! The music is pretty good, but I think you could get the arcade music in there with the way combat rock and mr roboto were done. sound good?
