what about cabbage patch, rainbow bright, care bears
Hey, what about Bubble Bobble, why didn't that come out for any atari system. Was qix the most popular taito game or what?
-
Ha! Robotek! Sure. What would it have been like? Maybe Transformers seemed too complicated to form into a game without using lots of graphics and sounds etc... Of course, 2600 programmers always seemed to find a way.
-
I remember seeing a mock 2600 Transformers Atari Cart Label. Where was that. Anyway, probably true on the Scooby Doo, although scooby was popular in the late 70s. But I guess that was before "franchise branded video games" became popular.
-
Ok, so why were there never any games about Scooby Doo or transformers for the Atari Systems? Did hasbro have a thing against Atari?
I mean, there is a strawberry shortcake game, and 2 smurf games! They were all popular at the time..?

Everyone always says how bad E.T. was. I mean, what kind of game Could it have been? I guess flying the bicycle through the air might have been better but gee, the movie doesnt have many elements to base a great game on. I think its pretty fun except for the tedious-ness of getting out of holes.

Does anyone have a spare/extra 2600 Lab prototype cartridge they are willing to sell or trade? I have several 5200 Labs and other interesting items for trade.
Thanks
-
Heh, I liked E.T.

APE Warp+ OS; Your standard XL/XE OS; A public domain Atari 800 Compatible OS for running those 800 only disks and cartridges
this is what it says on his site. I'm trying to find the pd atari 800 compatible os.

More Information Please! What other roms were released do you know? Atari st and what about 2600? any info would be great. Acording to Infogrames, they think they own everything still.
-
Nope, I have the real roms already. Real ROMS cannot be used legally without owning a real machine. So if yuo want to distribute and emulator you can't use them because Infogrames owns the rights to them. I heard there is a Freeware Atari 800 one that is not owned by Atari Inc.
that's what I'm trying to find.

Hello, I saw on atarimax that he includes a public domain 800 os rom on his refurbished machines. Where/what is this public domain 800 os rom? I cant find it anywhere!
Thanks

There are no numbers on the carts, it's first register first numbers.

Curt has on in his museum. Well the prototype. It was when atari was going to fix all the things they screwed up. So all the 5200 users wouldnt feel left out. You could upgrade your 5200 to the 7800 and play 7800 and 2600.

I tried to build one but after I fried 2 7800's. I gave up.
-
Ok guys, I got my orders for 9 so far. 3 Have paid. I must also stress, I won't be making these again for a while and the will never be gold foil labels after this!

-
Besides that, the 7800's hardware is extra flaky. THey blow up for no reason sometimes.
I'd much rather have the 5200 to 7800 adapter "Slam-Pam" as a project. Anyone out there have the skills to make that happen?

and how or where do I get a happy drive? or how do I modify it?

-
These are one of a kind source code disks, not typical game downloads. I do ned to be able to read these disks.
How about a good whole disk copier. Maybe one that can do copy prottected disks better because it has a sector nibler? That would help.
I know both of these utilities exist on C-64 but I have only found one for the 8-bit. Disk Wizard II seems to be much better than DOS copy.

I love that avatar! Tell me the story behind your DJ cat?

Scooby Doo or Transformers 2600?
in Atari 2600

Oh, do we call it puzzle bobble because of licensing? How about Bubble bubble or Bubble Blower
I think that is should be a game the big 2600 guys should work on. If they don't I think I might. I've been meaning to get into 2600 programing. Just haven't had any good concepts.
