Thanks for the tip; you guys rock!!! I am finally able to play 7800 klax. An awesome game by the way! Klax should of been released. It looks like a pretty complete version. WTF?

It freezes at the Atari logo start-up screen. I can see the color bars scrolling then it stops. I am using mess version 37b11. Sounds like I might have a corupt rom. I'll try downloading the rom from your website. Thanks Mitch!

Does Klax work on either of the 7800 emus? I have had no luck getting that game to work. Has anybody got it working? Do I just have a bad rom of Klax?

Gunstar,

You need two controllers for this game. When the game was originally sold, it was packaged with a dual control holder so you could use both joysticks simultaneously. Sort of like Robotron, remember that cool arcade game? You can get one at www.4jays.com ($15). Although, I have seen them on ebay for much less.

 

BTW, Congrats on your purchase! Controllers aside, the 5200 is neat system, you got to have one!!!!.
