I think the console is the problem because my Dutch(PAL)2600 6-switcher woody has the exact same problem (it will not display anything but a black and white picture. If you switch the B/W - colour switch it changes contrast). I also have a 2600junior with does show colour with the same RF cable, same TV and the same PAL cartridge (although this one keeps giving a buzzing sound on the TV but that’s a other story/topic). I have tried the channel switch and re tuning my TV but noting seems to solve the problem. Could you let me know if you were able to fix it and which of the suggestions to solve this problem did the trick for you.
