[Planet of the Grapes]

Or, My first Atari 2600 game.

 

Well, I made an Atari 2600 game using Visual Batari Basic. Great program, I recommend it for Newbies.

 

The game I made is called Planet of the Grapes,The story (Yeah, story in an ATARI GAME!) is that You're Dr. Setra, and he's after crashing his ship on the Planet of the Grapes. You must fight off the army of Master Grapist. (Which consists of 20 grape things.)

 

The controls are simply Joystick Left and Right to move, and Fire to shoot lazors.

 

I generated a cover too. I did the terrible artwork in tribute to Mega Man on NES

 

I attached both the cover and .BIN to the post.

 

I know it's quite crappy, but it's my first so be sure to provide feedback.

 

It's tested and works fine with the Stella emulator.

[Tips on burning Sega CD]

I use Memorex for my media. They're surprisingly good, actually.

Memorex used to be good, now they are CMC Magnetics crap.

 

I had a bad experience years ago with Memorex and have since used Verbatim or TDK with no issues.

I use Tesco's own brand!

[Atari Sound]

My Atari 6-Switch Woody is being an asshole.

When I plug the RF into my TV, The picture appears, but all you can hear is a fuzzy sound.

Also, If you are telling me where to get something, I'm in Ireland and we DON'T Have RadioShack or BestBuy.

Where can I get one or make one? (Not online)
