Hi Guys, I'm Conrado from Brazil and I enjoy the Atari Age for years but never posted about my collection. My Jaguar was bought in 2007 new and I am the sole owner. The Jaguar was never officially released in Brazil , then it is a very rare (and expensive) console here. Well, I have the original box, all manuals, poster and 6 games: * Alien vs Predator * Bubsy * Checkered Flag * Cybermorph * Doom (sealed never used) * Sensible Soccker * Wolf3D (sealed never used) The Shirt it's not official, but I like It. Yesterday I received the RGB SCART Cable. In Brasil the TVs doesn' have SCART input, so I use SCART -> HDMI converter, and the image is very clear. Much better than S-Vídeo. Recently I bought 2 new controllers from Ebay but thay not come. My next steps are get: Rayman, Tempest 2000, Atari Karts, the multitap and the link cable, the Skunkboard and for last the Catbox.

Dear Zerosquare Thank you for the informations. Now I understand what have to do. It's not complicated. I thought in a cable with composite and S-Video. The idea is uses a 5 shielded cables of the jaguar connector to the plugs: Plugs 1B, 2B to the right audio RCA plug Plugs 1A, 2A to the left audio RCA plug Plugs 7B, 8B to the s-video luma Plugs 8A, 4A to the s-video chroma and plugs 11B, 10B to the composite video RCA Plug About the SCART, I can't use it. The Brazil doesn't uses SCART standard. Here, the equipments use a composite video (is the common) and the recent equipments use a S-video or component video. 82-T/A The Volkswagen bus is still released. But it's diffent from the original. Until 2006 the VW Bus used a classic VW Boxer 1700 engine from the beetle, but the engine was modificated, it used a electronic injection of fuel since 2001 (before this, it used a carburettor...). Since 2006, the VW Bus uses a 1.4 four cilinder water cooled engine from the VW Fox. About the ethanol it's not correct. All the new cars in Brazil (since 2002 or 2003) can uses gasoline or ethanol (flex fuel engines), including the VW Bus (since 2006). So the most of the people uses gasoline because it's less expensive than ethanol, hehehehehehe And VW bus never had air conditioning.

Zerosquare, I have looked the links that you have posted, but I didn't understand the connector. The cable and the RCA plugs (to connect on the TV) are very simple to make. But the jaguar conector is complicated... Well, is the "SULLINS ELECTRONICS CORP EBC12DCWN" a conector, ok? In Brazil I'll never get the SULLIN conector... So you said me to use a 5,25 inch floppy conector. But the floppy conector is bigger than jaguar A/V port. Can I cut the 5,25 floppy conector for conect in the jaguar? I'm fear to make a wrong cable and "burn" my jaguar's A/V connector out, and "burn" my TV's connector. Do someone have a complete tutorial to make a jaguar A/V cable? And, do someone use a Super video cable? Do it has a difference to the A/V composite cable?

I believe the media (in all the world) is very lying and pretentious. The media manipulate the news. In brazil the ways of communication to belong to the businessmans and some rich mans. About the fuels, is how I said you: the cars since 2002 can use gas or alcool, but most of the people use gas, because is more cheap. Despite of we produce our own alcool... I have done a video of my jaguar! Watch it please http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBYwwgqN0Rg Thanks to you, now I goint to try to finish the Cybermorph, I always die in the world 9.

Hello, It's very good to be welcome here. So, the answers: kevincal I never have seen a Jaguar. By the way, here It called "onça", and they are danger to be extinct. There are some jaguars in "Amazon Florest" but they are very hunted. Ovalbugmann I watched a Sepultura show in 2002. Sincerily I don't like Sepultura, but they played together Deep Purple and Hellacopters in the same show, and I love Deep Purple. Actually Sepultura don't play with Max Cavalera, the actual vocal is worse than Max cavalera. Man, sorry you are incorrect about the fuel. In brazil, we produce "Ethanol", different of Methanol (you used methanol in Formula Indy some years ago). But, the majority of cars and motorcycles use gasoline. Since 2002 all the new cars in Brazil can use gasoline or alcohol. But the majority of people use gasoline, because alcohol (ethanol) is more expensive yhan gasoline. The ethanol alcohol make polution and CO2 like gasoline. But the alcohol makes 70% less CO2 than gasoline. Walter_J64Bit It's great! Some video games just like sega saturn have 3 ou 4 region games... It's bad, many times I got japonese games or european games and It doesn't play in my sega saturn (in brazil sega saturn's use american games). Zerosquare The idea of to use 5.25 inch floppy cable is good. It's easy to get this connector. I'll get the floppy driver connector. Is the A/V connector exclusive of Jaguar, or it was used in other cables? Thank you guys, it's very nice join the jaguar communit. Ps. Sorry for the mistakes in my writing, I don't know the correct english.

Thank you man. I'm a Jaguar fan since the jaguar was released, but now I have the real machine! I will look the article, to make the A/V cable. 5 minutes ago, I was playing Cybermorph, but with the RF cable is bad... Do you now where can I buy the new Jaguar game? This game recently was released for many old video games like 3DO, sega CD and also Jaguar. I didn't know this... But it's great! It's very good we have hope to see new games. Maybe they release more new games to Jaguar, but I don't know how they can "produce" new jaguar cartridges because Atari doesn't exist nowadays. Thank you!

Very nice site. Now you have to increase the information about jaguar and the games. -
Hello Guys!!! My name is Conrado, I'm 22 years old and I'm Braziliam. First, I'm sorry because my english isn't good, but I'd like to talk to you, especially about the Jaguar, because I love atari jaguar, and I have an original one. Recently I bought my first Atari Jaguar, this game was my dream child! I have already had many video games before jaguar: Atari 2600 (in brazil there was a factory called "CCE" that produced video games like Atari 2600 and used a commom 2600 cartridges, but the desing is different). I have attached some photos of the CCE. Mega Drive I, II and III: In USA you called Sega Genesis, but in brazil we say "mega drive" Sega SAturn: I love this video game, I had more than 150 games... But I sold the video game. Sega CD: I play Sega CD a lot, and there were many god games like Final Fight CD, Shining Force CD. 32X: This game I don't like so much... But I have already had one. 3DO: This video game is very good! But I've sold it. Dreamcast: Very nice. After a while, I sold all the video games. Some time later I've bought a Super Nintendo and this week I've bought a Jaguar! Ok, Jaguar is a good video game, but there are many problems to me. 1) In brazil, the jaguar wasn't sold by atari. The jaguars that are here were imported. So, it's very very difficult to see atari jaguars here, and more, the jaguar games are very rare! I have only the cybermorph... I want to get more games, and I know there are very nice jaguar games. 2) The RF out makes a bad screen and a bad sound. The solution would be I get a A/V or S-video cable. But it's pratically impossible to get an A/V cable in brazil. Well, I've read tutorial (http://www.hardwarebook.info/Jaguar_to_Composite-Video) to make my own cable A/V. But, I don't know what is the connector to use to connect to the jaguar. Ok guys, thank you all, I hope to make many friends here, and "Jaguar forever" !!!
