I have several broken springs in my bed too. :(

  2. Hello everyone, since the makeover a little while back to the site, I can no longer get to my gallery posts from my profile. How do I get to the photos that I posted in the gallery from my own profile page? When I click on gallery link on the side bar, it says there's nothing to display. However, when I simply go the gallery in general, I can hunt through and eventually find my pictures there. Anyone else have this issue and solve it? Thanks!
  3. Remember to use two joysticks for Radar Lock. It's not a bad game, just takes awhile to figure it all out. Or maybe that's just me. It took me awhile to figure it all out.
  4. Seawolf uses it for difficulty level selection. Bump N Jump uses it, I think, to turn the music off or back on.
  5. Solaris, Gravitar, Defender II, Jr. Pac-Man,and Crossbow are all really good later games from Atari. And don't forget later Activision titles such as Frostbite, Pitfall II, and HERO. And Pete Rose Baseball is amazing. And Montezuma's Revenge and Spy Hunter are not as large as the 8-bit computer versions, but they are really good. And two more, Solar Fox and Turmoil are fairly late and often overlooked. There's a bunch more, as mentioned a few posts ago. The 2600 really just keeps on going, with the late titles and now the homebrews.
  6. Thanks for your work Albert! Atari Age is great. And certified apparently.
  7. Atari 800 and 1050 still available if anyone's interested.
  8. It's a toss up between Anchor's Away from Journey to the Planets, The Hitchcock theme from Shamus, the waltz in Pinhead, or the music in Preppie II!
  9. How many copies are left? How long might it be for sale? And how long Andrew D. will you wait before you swoop in and buy the extra copies? I do want to buy it, but I'll have to do some juggling. It looks amazing, and one of Andrew's other games, Qb, is one of my favorite 2600 games of all.
  10. Welcome Jim, my 1050 stops right at 180 degrees. I've never seen the other kind. Definitely post the question over in the 8-bit forums. Someone will have a good answer there.
  11. The Atari 800 and 1050 are back on the market. Anyone interested? They both work great. The 800 is a little yellowed. The 1050 is still white and has a dent and bend in the metal strip, but both work like champs.
  12. Update: Everything has been sold except Space Invaders and Basic. Thank you all for the overwhelming response! EDIT--The 800 and the 1050 have gone back up for sale. Thanks to everyone still for such an overwhelming response.
  13. I'm keeping my 400 and a small collection of carts, as well as all my 2600 stuff. By the way, nice bike in your avatar photo mimo.
  14. Here are the items and prices that I hope to get. I am open to discussion if any of my prices seem unreasonable to you. Thanks! Please scroll down for updates as things may or may not sell quickly or may come back up for sale if anyone changes their minds. loose carts space invaders, $5 congo bongo, $3, has a chip in case but works fine k-razy antics, $5 defender, $5 k-star patrol, $5 k-razy shoot-out, $5 basic, $1.00 rally speedway, Video 61, $7 carts with boxes chicken, $7 moon patrol, $10 galaxian, $6 deluxe invaders, $10 atlantis, $10 disk pole position, $3.00 hardware atari 800, $50 atari 1050, small dent and bend in silver strip, $35 atari 810, has writing on the top in sharpie, and works sporadically, doesn't work sporadically, $10
  15. The fact that people here at Atari Age still program and release new Atari 2600 games also keeps the 2600 exciting. I love the 2600 for its speed (no load times or lagging), the short games (and the long ones like Montezuma's Revenge and Pitfall 2), its arcade titles, the controllers, the blocky graphics that make you use your imagination, and the homebrews that keep coming out.
  16. There's a website called MAPY that has a lot of the maps from the 80s game as well. You might try it for Pitfall II.
  17. I love Shamus! I'm not sure if I'll have time to get any games in this week, but I'll try.
  18. I bought Seaweed Assault for the 2600 from RT this past month. It's a great game and he did everything very professionally, along with CPUWIZ. I'd be happy to buy his next game as well. Highly recommended.
  19. I bought Seaweed Assault from CPUWIZ and Random Terrain recently. And it was excellent. As usual, CPUWIZ did a great job making the carts, labels, and doing the packing. It arrived quickly and looking sharp. Thanks again. This was my third time buying a game from CPUWIZ, and I look forward to new ones in the future. Highly recommended.
  20. Missile Command 34,755 No improvement on Jr. Pac yet. Same score stands. I nominate Captain Beeble and start with a feeble 3,700 (level 2 almost complete).
  21. Playing Seaweed Assault. Thanks RT and CPU!

    1. Random Terrain

      Random Terrain

      Thanks for buying and playing.

  22. Mine arrived Friday, #42. Thank you RT and CPUWIZ! It's great to play this one on the real hardware.
