  1. I'll join in with Jr. Pac-Man and Missile Command this weekend. And if it's not too late, I'll enter a game as well once I browse my collection.
  2. Atari 800 Galaxian 10 minutes Pac-Man 10 minutes Pinhead 15 minutes Atari 2600 Adventure 10 minutes Burgertime 5 minutes Off the Wall 15 minutes Linux Burgerspace 3 minutes SuperTuxKart 15 minutes
  3. I think there may be someone trying to make a version for the 7800. I seem to remember a thread a few years ago in the 7800 forums. I also liked Pick Ax Pete on the O2. At one time, John Champeau was working on a version of that for the 2600, or at least mulling it over.
  4. Night Driver, Solar Fox, Missile Command, Jr. Pac-Man, Cross Bow, Gravitar, Moon Patrol, Space Invaders, Sea Wolf.
  5. Chocolate is on my mind.

  6. Pinhead 7,045 I'll post a picture tomorrow and hopefully have a higher score. Pac-Man did appear and eat my unicycle after the second or third screen. And does anyone have any recommendations on what to do with the diamonds? I have forgotten most everything about this game, hadn't really played it much since the 1980s. But I really like it, except when a balloon pops right next to my foot.
  7. Hey trbb, I'll get some Pinhead scores out there soon. The kids have been keeping me too busy to play Atari the past week, but this week I should have an evening or two.
  8. Do you like it or not like it? rmaerz, I'm sorry I'm unclear. I didn't mean to be confusing. I think the game Tron looks amazing. But I'm not a fan of the actual gameplay. I hold this opinion in both the arcade and the xbox live arcade version. But I think if a person likes the arcade game, then he/she will like the xbox live arcade version. It reminded me exactly of the arcade game, minus the amazing looking cabinet.
  9. For those of you who liked/loved the game play, have you tried the xbox live arcade version? This is what brought it back to my mind. It seemed pretty accurate. And looked pretty cool graphically, like the arcade game.
  10. When I first saw the game Tron in the arcades I was awed by the colors and the graphics, and the long lines waiting to play it. But once I got a few goes, I thought it looked great but had terrible game play. What were your first thoughts upon seeing this one in the arcades?
  11. What's the status on the production? Is it all sold out? Headed for the Atari Age store in non-numbered copies? Possibly available if 10 more sign on? I'm interested in one in any case. Thanks!
  12. I'm another fan or 2600 Burgertime. And a fan of Beef Drop for the 5200, 8-bits, and 7800. And a fan of Burgerspace for Linux. I like them all how they are. But if you were to get someone to do a 2600 remake, I'd either ask for Ken Siders (Beef Drop programmer) or one of the 2600 homebrew masters (they're all here on Atari Age).
  13. I think Pac-Man does come down in Pinhead at some point. There's also the point patterns from Pac-Man: 200, 400, 800, 1600 as in eating all four ghosts, when you pop four balloons on your head in a row. I'm not certain, but wasn't there a version of Pinhead in the arcades called Kickman? Same game, different name?
  14. Shamus seemed amazing at the time, such a huge map to explore. I still like it now. And AE had incredible graphics compared to the VCS games that I was used to playing.
  15. Atari 800 Donkey Kong-30 minutes Congo Bongo-5 minutes Matterhorn-10 minutes Atari 2600 Congo Bongo-10 minutes TARG-10 minutes Evil Magician Returns-15 minutes Centipede-10 minutes Game and Watch Donkey Kong Dual Screen- 8 minutes Linux PC SuperTuxKart-15 minutes
  16. I'm using a 23'' Samsung LCD and it looks great with my 400 and 800. I'll try to post the model number tomorrow.
