  1. Incoming-10 minutes Defender II-10 minutes Venture-10 minutes Radar Lock-15 minutes
  2. Pac-Man Ms. Pac-Man Crazy Climber Donkey Kong Defender Robotron Star Wars Space Invaders This one was hard. I really like Joust, Battlezone, and Tempest, but they went against titles that I like even more.
  3. The game looks really good! Thanks for the video.
  4. While it was in full force, the 2600 Connection often covered homebrews. You might be able to order back issues.
  5. Atari 400/800 Pac-Man 20 minutes Pacific Coast Highway 2 minutes Jr. Pac-Man 5 minutes Shamus 10 minutes Congo Bongo 5 minutes
  6. Battlezone, Defender, Mario Bros.,Robotron: 2084, Star Wars, Gauntlet, Space Invaders, 1943. These were really close.
  7. Radar Lock, 10 min. (I can rarely refuel, arrrrghhh!) Venture, 10 min. Defender II, 5 min. rmaerz, where's the arcade where you play those excellent titles?
  8. You're right. I'm sorry, I got it mixed up.
  9. Is it Commando Raid? Was that an arcade title?
  10. Yesterday I squeezed in a little play time with the 2005 minigame multicart. It is excellent. A few of the games are more fun with another person around, but many of them are fun just on your own. My questions are, are there any plans to release any more carts like this? The minigame competition is a yearly thing? Is anyone else out there enjoying their 2005 minigame cart?
  11. We just got a Play n Trade in the Chattanooga/East Ridge, Tennessee area, near our big movie theater. They stock everything. I was quite excited to pick up Radar Lock and a white Coleco Venture for the 2600, for under $4.00. Some of the 2600 carts were 99 cents, many in the 2-3 dollar range, and a few were up into the teens. They even had a few 8-bit carts for the 400/800/xl/xe line. I hope they stick around. We've had 4 classic game shops in this area go out of business.
  12. Looking for the following games to replace my no longer functioning disks: 1-Star League Baseball 2-Pathfinder 3-Canyon Climber 4-Apple Panic 5-Pinhead
  13. My first Atari that I owned was an 800. The first games that we got were Apple Panic, Canyon Climber, and Pacific Coast Highway. It was quite a treat. They were all on disk.
  14. Are there any 2600 games you have trouble playing because of the colorblindness? One of my friends is colorblind, and when we play board games he always gets to pick his piece first to be sure he gets one he can tell apart from the others. Yes. In fact, there are few homebrews I sadly couldn't play (one of the Christmas titles and SCSIcide). Also, the Activision shooter Starmaster is a little hard to play due to the color cues. But for the most part I've been lucky to have been able to distinguish shades in most games, in order to know what's going on.
  15. Bosconian and Kickman (which exists as Pinhead for the 8-bit computers). Space Panic (which exists as Apple Panic for the 400/800) would be nice on the 2600 or 7800 as well.
  16. I believe mine is yellow as well. However, I am colorblind, so it could be green, or orange. I'll have to ask my wife the color.
  17. The 4 switch woodie is my favorite because it is the first one I owned. However, I'm also very happy with the Vader I now own as well. Looks very cool and sleek. The wood grain, however, on my 4 switch woodie just screams "Retro!", which I like.
  18. several things: the 80 Classic Games collection for PC lots of lackluster PS2 games Atari Age homebrews the desire to play some games I could never afford when I was a kid the game play! immediate, simple, addictive, fun the blocky graphics, really the joysticks, which goes back to the game play
  19. It looks great. I also love the fact that it is huge, like the 5200 itself. And to play Pac-Man and River Raid with no adjustments sounds quite fine as well.
  20. What is the correct way to pronounce Imagic? A few days back I was watching a video from Atariamania and the person in the video pronounced it "eeee magic". As a kid, I always pronounced "Eye-magic". Also, I've heard "i-magic", with a short i as in wick or pick. What is the correct way to say it?
  21. The homebrew game Skeleton + pulls off a 2600 3D effect pretty well.
  22. And because the sound on the 7800 DK is hideous. I wish they would have used the 2600 sound effects for the 7800 DK.
