My 2600 Vader is next to the TV in the bedroom, on top of my dresser, ready to play.
My Sears Video Arcade II is in a drawer beneath the TV in the living room, and gets taken out and hooked up when the bedroom tv is unavailable.
The games are mostly in small rubbermaid boxes, trying to avoid dust. Some others are gathering dust in drawers.
And Ms. Pac-Man is currently plugged into the Vader.

Tempest (one of the greatest arcade games ever)
Asteroids (ditto)
Kaboom (great fun on the 2600, as said above "a reason to own paddles")
Yars Revenge (great fun on the 2600, crazy sounds and flashes with only 128 bytes)

maf,
I'm sorry, I only have one copy of Smithereens. I got it off ebay for peanuts.
I think Atari2600.com might have it, as well as 4Jays. I have bought some O2 games from 4Jays and they're very reasonable. I just unloaded all my extra carts to a nearby video game store, along with an extra O2 system. Smithereens wasn't one of the extras. So maybe it is a bit rare.
If I run across one I'll PM you or add another reply here.

There are some really fun games. Some of the common carts like KC Munchkin, Smithereens, and KC's Crazy Chase are fun, as well as the homebrews at Packrat Video Games and the harder to find carts like Killer Bees.

I loved the music in a bunch of games.
Atari 8-bit: Shamus, Pinhead, Preppie, Journey to the Planets.
Sega Genesis: NHL 95 is hard to get out of my head once it's in there. And for cheese, there's NHL 96. Get up and dance.
Atari 2600: It has to be Flap Ping (Joust Pong)! Great music. Makes me laugh and wiggle.

Adventure, Ms. Pac-Man, Mario Bros., and Centipede because they are a bit more fun than the others (for me).

My friends and I all felt sunk in defeat while playing Donkey Kong when we realized that it only had two levels. We were so excited to see the first red screen, the blue screen with the yellow rivets, then the red again. And then we all gasped when we realized there were no elevators or pies coming.
And also Pac-Man disappointed because it was so different from the arcade.
And Defender, because the ship vanished every time you fired.
But now I especially like Donkey Kong. And I'm no longer as put off by Pac-Man and Defender. However, I prefer Defender II and Ms. Pac-Man.
I do like the fact that Defender kept the little humans that you can catch and rescue.

You may also try checking out Wico sticks for the O2. I think Wico might have made an O2 stick, and they are usually a lot nicer than the original sticks (like their 2600 and 5200 sticks).

I'm still on the prowl for a 400 or 800.
I'm going to edit the original list in a few moments.
Thanks for looking.
Check above for newest list.

Floyd of the Jungle was a four player, as was Basketball.
There's a list out there somewhere on an Atari 8-bit FAQ page.
One game was listed as an 8 player game with the paddles.
I can't remember which game however. Maybe Super Breakout?
Yes, Super Breakout. Sorry, it's listed above. Urchlay already mentiond it.
I'll have to find that page again. There's a good number of games on that list.

Wow! That's a great find. Awesome.

I haven't notice any color differences on 2600 games played on the 7800, but I am colorblind so I might be missing them. I have noticed that my 2600 homebrews look better on the 7800 due to the lack of ghosting/rf interference. I guess my 7800 has better shielding, or just newer parts. On the 2600, the homebrews I have get a lot of extra lines and interference on the screen when played on a 2600.
However, I do like playing them (2600 games) on the 2600 better due to the nostalgia, the way they fit better into the slot, and just the appearance of a 2600 in front of me (it just looks good---good design on Atari's part).
-
I vote Star Master, but think
Star Voyager and Star Fire are missing.
They're all close, but I'd still pick Star Master for its depth and fun.
I'd put Solaris, Radar Lock, and Moonsweeper in their own category.
-
Space Panic and Mouse Trap.
I've never played Space Fury, so I couldn't vote for that. I actually like Apple Panic, but would love to see another version, especially on a cart. And Mouse Trap is sorely missing on the Atari 8-bits, and the 2600 version could surely be improved upon.
And while lady Bug is tempting, the 2600 homebrew is quite good enough to keep me from wishing for an 8-bit port.
So please, make it Space Panic and Mouse Trap. I know those two would be a lot of fun to play on the 8-bits.

Dark Cavern
Cross Force
Crash Dive
Commando Raid
Night Driver
Pete Rose Baseball
Donkey Kong
Freeway
Bank Heist
Spider Fighter
Adventures of Tron
Congo Bongo

Atari 800 version for several reasons.
It has all four screens, good sound, quick Mario, and is really fun.
-
A second vote for Paintbrush Rush. That's a good one!
-
Thanks for the info. Some nice shirts there. I like the "usual suspects" shirt with the pac-man ghosts.
-
I'd love to see Star Castle, Space Panic, Scramble, and some attempt at Bosconian. And Vindicators would be nice too.
-
Someone might have already mentioned this, but you can get official Atari power supplies from B & C Computervisions, Best Electronics, and Video 61 websites (as well as games and everything else Atari related). Happy hunting.

Give it a go, it's a great game. And it has a continue feature--which means you can continue the game where you left off (minus the points of course) on the next start, or you can start at the beginning if you wish.

XE,400,800..ect games & stuff!
