Payment Options in the Store
littleman jack replied to littleman jack's topic in Site and Forum Feedback
Thanks Al, I'll try it later today and see what happens. If it doesn't work, then I'll wait a week or two and use pay pal. I'm looking forward to some new 5200 and possibly 2600 games. -
Updating game information broken?

See post number 5 from the"What happened to the 400/800/XL/XE game listings?" thread in this forum. -
Is it possible to use a pre-paid Visa card in the store? When choosing the visa option, you must enter a name on the card, but pre-paid cards have no names since they're disposable.

I feel the same. If this one gets in, I'll break out the cartridge and put it to use. I do love IXION though, but no longer have a disk drive. That is one excellent game.

7800 joypad with 2600 games ( advantage?)
littleman jack replied to Atari2600Lives's topic in Atari 2600
Sometimes I feel the response time is worse. Do you keep the little stick on? Maybe mine seems worse because I take the stick off and use the thumb disk as my directional control. I do like the 7800 pad for Montezuma's Revenge on the 2600 however. -

I think Firefox will go on, for linux at least. Also, don't be too worried about flash on linux. Gnash is getting better on linux ( I watched you tube several times today using gnash with next to no problems), and the newer html and other methods of displaying video are making huge strides. The fact that Apple refused to include flash on their devices over the past few years is also accelerating the development of html and alternatives to flash. My only fear is that many of these will be just as unsecure as flash. I hope not, but there's no telling which way the hackers will lean. -
Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to this one, as a few people stated earlier. Each colorblind person has a unique vision, and so there is no general answer. I think with 10 colors, color blind people will have some trouble. I have trouble with most colors, but especially green/red, red/brown, blue/purple, pink/gray, and all colors that are pale or light. Other than that, I see all the colors just fine . You probably should just make the best game you can, and hopefully most people will be able to play it. We colorblind people can check out the screenshots and instructions and then tell if it's playable for us. Thanks for asking!

l loved this game back the day, and still love it today. To me, it's like Adventure, game 3, as well--get in a groove, and it's almost hypnotic, and even relaxing. Yet, not too relaxing. Just right.

Joust and Donkey Kong would be my top two. They are both great versions of the games. Miner 2049er is also top notch.

This looks great. I hope you get it to where you want it. I'll be happy to play it.

Phoenix-great looking and increasing difficulty Seawolf-same reasons Spider Fighter-crazy fast, crazy action Oystron-deep and fun Centipede-plays like the arcade, looks like the 2600 sideways scrollers----Defender II and Chopper Command both are really impressive for their speed, graphics, and gameplay as well. And Seaweed Assault and Yars' Revenge both make it as unconventional shooters. Lots of fun, very difficult to stop once you have started. You keep saying, "Just one more try for a higher score".
