Hey, i was wondering if anybody had an extra ps1 they would be willing to sell.
must come with a couple games, one controller is fine, but would prefer two, MUST BE IN GOOD (not mint) WORKING CONDITION.
please give some refrences.
i also live in canada, so you have to be willing to ship there.
pics preferred.
Thanks in advance, -Elerach

After so many bad deals on Ebay, i've finally decided to go to my main source for games to buy my consoles.
they definatley wont be cheap, but at least ican be guarenteed REAL (sometimes even less) shipping charges, and working products.
I do feel stupid though. i need to look at feedback before buying again!

i dont happen to have a digital camera, but i can type exactly what it says on the bag he used to ship
also, like i said above, for it to take almost a month, it wasent a expensive shipping method.
anyway, here, to the best of my ability, is what it says:

ok i think im going to do that, but i just want to know if because he led me to believe those were the actual shipping charges, its his fault that i paid 25$ too much?
-
sorry to double post, but even if i knew that it was going to be 30.00, is he still in the wrong?
*edit*
what i mean, is i was under the impression those were the ACTUAL shipping charges, as thats what he stated in the e-mail.
-
well, its a really light box,and its not very big.
plus, it took like 3 weeks to come, so im guessing he used some crap-tastic method of shipping.
so what you all suggest i do, i leave a negative, and file a paypal invoice for shipping overcharges?

to NEG or not to NEG?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=360051864730
now, to be honest, everything is working.
however, the seller claimed he was giving actual shipping fees.
i paid 30 dollars shipping (give or take 50 cents) to calgary, alberta, canada.
the box was in a bag.
nothing else.
it was the retro duo, inside its box, covered in a shopping bag.
it also says on the package he paid 5 dollars for shipping.
not only that, i paid for insurance, which he did not add.
so, he made a lie that cost me 25$ and his communication was next to nothing after i had bought the item.
everything inside is in great shape, e.t.c
but it angers me that the box was in horrible condition (crushed and torn)
if i pay 30 dollars for shipping, i expect a big, very well padded box.
what do you guys think?

Christmas day, 2001.
it was a good day.
next day, i went and bought my first 5 dvds.
Rocky 1, Rocky 2, Rocky 3, Rocky 4, and *what a shock*, Rocky 5.
i remeber how amazing i thought the menus were, being raised on vhs and all.

So what's your alternative solution? ChasetheChuckwagon? Eh. Maybe some day that'll be a decent site, but right now it's puny.Other than that, where the heck am I get old Atari stuff? The local thrift shops and flea markets dried up years and years ago. I either use eBay... or I go without.

how does acti-plaque even happen?
what exactly is the science behind it?
-
Well, a lot of those clones (most) are famicom based, and many are basically very-low-end systems for asian buyers.
there probally just isint enough market for them outside of the us and canada, and maybe south america.

RETARD ALERT!

Here is my plan for the convenient setup using an Atari 2600 on my main TV:1. An real Atari TV/Game switch - These shouldn't noticeably degrade the quality of the picture from the cable connection when run through. The quality through my VCR sucks.
2. Atari Wireless Controllers - I tried them, they work great for me, and I don't have a microwave in my room.
3. A Cuttle Cart - If you have it in a ROM, unless its Pitfall II, it should work in this. Its quicker than hunting for one cartridge in 430!
4. A DVD Drive - A CD can only hold 99 tracks, a DVD 9 groups of 99 tracks. The size of the converted bin files is not an issue for CD or DVD, its the number of tracks that can be placed on a disk. Who wants to have to change the CD because you want to play River Raid instead of Fishing Derby, which may be on different disks? A DVD would allow you to select 990 games without having to rise from the seat.
The only thing that would improve this would be a real remote for the Power, Reset and Select swithces...
make one its easy
How would you make a remote?
i remember seeing one on here in the forums a looong way back
it was made from a Pole Position cart if i remember correctly.
but could anybody point me to a tutorial\part list?

Aw come on, tell me too!

but if when you bid, it goes for 30 more minutes, what if there was a bidding war?
it would never end!
