      What year iMac? Ours runs great on Lion (i7, 12gb ram). Haven't gone to Mountain Lion yet. On the other hand, my 2.66 Core 2 Duo 4GB MacBookPro was such a horrible dog with Lion, I reformatted and reinstalled Snow Leopard from scratch, and it's like a new computer. Fantastic as it should be. And, I like Snow Leopard better anyway. That's the first time I have ever had to reformat and reinstall on a Mac, but it was well worth it!

    Just wasted $145 on the head gasket quick fix from rxauto.com should be here Saturday. Wish me luck. That was all the money I had left to my name. Hope it works.

      By the way, K-Seal is probably just as good (maybe better, not worse) and is only about $20. Same thing, same idea. Temporarily seals up leaks via the coolant, usually for a real fix at a later date.

      Good luck! Maybe really changing the head gasket wouldn't have been that hard? Depending on the car. If you do it yourself, it's a lot cheaper in short and long run.
