This will be my last Atari 2600 purchase for a while.... the Coleco homebrewers are 'killing' me with what seems like 10 carts a month...! Ahh the good and the bad...

OK - as said replied by email - ordering all 6! Have now had a chance to look at pictures and read posts in detail. :-o Hope I'm lucky and get an email next March!!! I have several of the carts that Telegames put out (never could get/find an Amazing Bumpman...) This is fantastic!

This game's pissing me off - even on the Easy setting. My previous high was around 140 or 150 before I erased the high score table. Now my high on the table is 106K. Hi score is now 104800 on medium difficulty. Easy Medium Hard.... usually score around 90-95K. I've got to stop running into planes / bombs / bosses to score points... (and usually just before being awarded another ship (life) )

Got my copy (#065) a week or so a go and have been playing it most nights for 20-30 minutes (hi score is 99100 - just missed an extra ship - ARGH!) . Kristof - this is a GEM!

If you find that you love your Vectrex then get Vector Pilot. Great game by Kristof Tuts.

Number 155 on the old list. Definitely still want this. Hope I'm on at the right time when the pre-order list opens up - this will sell out fast.

I agree with NIAD and I'll take a copy of each US game. WooHoo and early Christmas!

Got Kristof's first game a few years ago and is was very good. Can't wait to get this one! (Also waiting on Warrior from George!)

Time to dig mine out and check if it is still working!!!! That seems to be about the time I got mine also (maybe 8 years ago...) Don't remember how much I paid but 40-60 would probably be on target. I'll also have to get mine out and try it out.

Think of how amazing you will feel when you are done! The more frustration the bigger the excitment when finished! I wish I could have gone to AdamCon to see your current beta release that Jim showed that would have been awesome. It was - even got to play the game for 10 minutes or so! (And darn it Jim wouldn't let me borrow the stuff for a few weeks to play it some more... )

And it's the best way to get the attention of the security at the airport apparently... They're still thinking that bearded men are dangerous in the US? They are... oops wait I have a beard also...

Holy Crap Batman! Week 18? I've seen several of these and find them very interesting... but 18! probably have missed half of them... can you post links (yes I'm to lazy to do a search)? to the other games?

Gotta say that after my Atari 2600 I tried the other systems and made a choice to go with a Colecovision (out on my own for the first time) and enjoyed the games that came out for it for a couple of years (and now I'm enjoying many more!!!). Over the years I've collect several systems, including the 5200, and other than the controllers, I like this system also. As for the 'flame wars' as to which was better... I say who cares... you got what you got you like what you like... I play my coleco more than my 5200 now.... who cares? If I go to your place and you want to play on your 5200... fine with me! Come to my place and who nows what system you will play on (well probably not the 100 boxed Adventurevision's I have stored away... :roll: )

Still waiting for my copy. Usually I wait 2-3 weeks after J-F has said all orders have been shipped before I start to worry. Darn customs... Order a nuke from russia and get it tomorrow.... order a video game from Canada ... wait 4-6 weeks!!!

"Old eyes can't keep track of so many 'items' on the screen at one time." That and the really slow reflexes us older folks have. That being said - I'd pay a little more if that would make the game more enjoyable.

I doubt it hits a $1000. I mean after all it's only a cool box. May be the only significant difference is that it is Purple instead of gray. Personally if I where going to spend a grand, I would rather offer $200 a piece for some of the hard to get CIB games. LIke Jungle Hunt, Q*Bert Qubes, Spectrom, Spy Hunter, Up n Down ... Let a Jungle Hunt box go oh 10 years ago... for 'a song' - still regret that... My guess is $1000-$1200 (for a BOX - good grief!) Hope it's not me that pays the price....
